How to register creative content in Adfox

When setting up an ad campaign in Adfox, you can simultaneously register creative content with the Yandex advertising data operator. Each creative is assigned a unique ID (token). It is added to a click-link and banner menu (if it's enabled in the banner parameters).

In the following sections, you can learn more about specific aspects of registering certain types of ad creatives:

Warning

If you register creative content with the Yandex advertising data operator in the Adfox interface, an ad register report must also be submitted in the Adfox interface.

Step 1. Create contractors (advertising chain participants)

  1. In the Adfox interface, go to Marking → Counterparties.

  2. Create a contractor that will be an end advertiser:

    1. Click Create in the upper-right corner.

    2. Fill out the form that opens with information about the end advertiser, which is the customer whose products or services you'll be advertising on your resource.

To learn how to label ads of your own products and services, see Labeling self-promotion.

    3. Click Create.

  3. Create a contractor to be a party under the contract with the end advertiser:

    • If you signed the contract directly with the advertiser, enter your data.
    • If there's an intermediary (agency) in the advertising chain, specify the details of the agency that the end advertiser signed the contract with.
  4. Create the site owner contractor whose resource you'll place ads on (if they weren't added as a contractor before).

Once the changes have been saved, the contractors are assigned IDs in the Yandex advertising data operator.

Note

If you create multiple contractors with the same TIN, make sure they have different roles. You can also create a single contractor with a dual role: Customer and provider.

Step 2. Specify information about the contract with the end advertiser

  1. Go to Marking → Contracts.

  2. Click Create in the upper-right corner.

  3. In Contract type, select one of the options:

    • Contract
    • Additional agreement
    • Intermediary contract

If you select the Intermediary contract type, make sure to fill in the Intermediary function field.

  4. Enter the details of the contract with the end advertiser. This contract can be concluded both directly with you and with an agency (intermediary). In the latter event, specify the details of the contract between the agency and the end advertiser.

  5. In Contract role, select one of the options:

    • Agreement between the Publisher and the Advertiser if the advertiser and the site owner (publisher) have a direct contract that doesn't involve intermediaries.

    • Select Agreement between the Advertiser and the Performer if the advertiser has a contract with an agency (provider) that ordered placement from the site owner (publisher).

  6. Click Create. Once the changes are saved, the contract is assigned an ID in the Yandex advertising data operator.

If you plan to submit ad register reports in the Adfox interface, you must also specify data about the final-contract if there are agencies among advertising chain participants. You can do this at any time: before running a campaign, while it's running, or when submitting reports. Read more in How to submit an ad register report in Adfox.

If you need to change a contract or sign an additional agreement in an active advertising campaign for a new reporting period, create a new campaign. Linking a new contract to the current campaign will change the information about the contract over the entire period.

Step 3. Add the ad register data to the site structure in Adfox

Warning

This step is mandatory if:

  • At least one of the contractors added earlier is an ad-distributor or advertising-system operator.
  • You plan to submit ad register reports in the Adfox interface.
  1. Go to the Sites tab and click + Add or open the settings for an existing site.

  2. Select Transfer the site to the ERIR. This opens the Marking section.

  3. Fill in the fields:

    • Placement type: Site, app, or information system.
    • Name: Name of the site to be added to the ad register.
    • Site URL: Site or video resource domain, blog URL, or URL for downloading an app that starts with http:// or https://.
    • Contractor: Contractor (domain, video resource, blog, or app owner) that you added in the Marking tab earlier.
  4. If you're adding a new site, fill in the Main section and proceed to adding sections and placements.

Step 4. Add the ad register data to a campaign

  1. Create a campaign by following the instructions or open the parameters of a created campaign.

  2. Under Settings for Russian ad register, in the Marking procedure field, select Submit data to state register.

  3. Do the following in the additional fields that open:

    • If the campaign was created as part of a direct contract between the advertiser and the placement owner that doesn't involve intermediaries, specify the [Direct] contract in the Agreement between the Advertiser and the Performer field.

    • If your advertising chain involves intermediaries, fill in the following two fields:

      • In Agreement between the Advertiser and the Performer, specify the [Primary] contract.
      • In Agreement between the Publisher and the Customer (Intermediary), enter the [Final] contract.
    • In the Campaign type field, enter the payment model: CPM, CPC, CPA, or other.

    • You can skip the Creative OKVEDs field at the ad campaign level.

In the Creative OKVEDs field, you can specify the OKVED code for the products or services to be advertised. If there are multiple codes, specify them as a comma-separated list.

The state register supports OKVED codes of the following types:

      • XX.X
      • XX.XX
      • XX.XX.X
      • XX.XX.XX

If you have an XX-type OKVED code, add zeros to it: XX.00.

By default, labeling is disabled in the flight settings. You need to enable labeling manually for each flight. New banners inherit their labeling settings from the associated flight.

    Alert

If you're editing a created campaign, set the ad register settings for the previously added flights and banners manually.

  4. Save your changes.

Step 5. Add information about a creative to a banner

  1. Open the banner parameters: go to the Banners tab in the ad campaign parameters, find the desired banner, and click .

  2. If necessary, add the “Ad” or “Social ad” label and the banner menu.

  3. Under Settings for Russian ad register, check and fill in the following fields:

    • Submission to ad register: If the creative content needs to be added to the ad register, select Submit data to state register. Once you add the banner, information about the creative content is transferred to the state register via the Yandex advertising data operator.

    • Description: General description of the advertised products or services.

    • Ad distribution type: Format of the creative (such as banner, Text & Image ad, video ad).

The OKVED code must be entered by individuals and individual entrepreneurs. Foreign persons need to enter Russian OKVED codes.

Legal entities can omit the OKVED code by leaving the field empty.

  4. Make sure data submission to the Russian state register (ERIR) is enabled for creative content:
