Advertising console

You can use the advertising console to view the history of ad loading in Adfox units on a website and identify issues in placements. You can open the console in one of the following ways:

  1. Open the site page with the Adfox ad tag.
  2. In the browser address bar, add the ?yan_console or #yan_console parameter to the page URL.
  3. Press Enter.
  1. On the site page with the Adfox ad tag, open the developer console.
  2. Type the command Ya.enableAdConsole() and press Enter.
  3. Reload the page.

The advertising console is available in the desktop and mobile versions of a website.

Managing the console

By default, the advertising console opens at the bottom of the screen. To move the console to the top, open the menu in the upper-right corner of the console and select Show panel on top.

The Autoscroll to ad block option is enabled by default: when you view events in an ad unit in the advertising console, the page automatically scrolls to this unit.

The Show console without parameter in url option allows displaying the console even after removing the ?yan_console parameter from the page URL.

Event log

Calling the console opens a list of all placements (on the left) and the event log:

  1. Ad unit number.

  2. Information about the ad unit:
