Interface

The Adfox interface appearance depends on the set of enabled modules and user type.

Main modules

To switch modules, use horizontal tabs. The following tabs are available to the administrator (the user who created the account) by default:

Dashboard
You can add widgets based on Adfox reports to the dashboard. Unlike reports, widgets contain statistics for a short period of time, such as a day, the last three days, or a week. You can manage data the way you need, such as change views or change the set of metrics to be shown on the chart without refreshing the page.
Campaigns

Here you can work with all campaigns of your account: add new ones and change existing ones.

Users

On this tab, you can add users (for example, advertisers, assistants, and site owners) and manage their access rights and system settings.

Sites

This tab contains logically distinct sites, sections and placements. Here you can add new sites and edit their settings.

Log

On this tab, you can view information about all actions in the account.

Settings

This tab contains tools for configuring banner types, site categories, banner positions, profiles, changing site owners' and advertisers' access rights, changing contact information and passwords, and managing notifications.

Monetization

On this tab, you can manage monetization channels.

Reports

On this tab, you can select and view campaign reports.

Marking

The tab contains tools for setting up the ad register. It's required to submit data to the ad register if you sign direct contracts with contractors (advertisers or agencies) and launch ads to be displayed in Russia.

For other user types, tab visibility is limited. For assistant users, visibility is managed by the administrator. For advertisers and site owners, the visibility of the main menu tabs is preset by the system.

Navigation

The Adfox interface uses a multi-level navigation panel.

The main menu with all available modules is represented by horizontal tabs. The active tab is highlighted red.

When you open lower-level items, a breadcrumb navigation appears under the main menu: it shows the path from the main menu to the current item. Under the navigation bar, a second line of tabs opens: it contains settings that are available for the current item. This way, you can always see which campaign you're setting up a banner for or which site the selected placement belongs to.

Search

To find an item more quickly, use the search bar above the main menu.

You can use the search bar to:

  • Find campaigns, banners, placements, and more.

  • Go directly to the main tabs inside the item, such as campaign settings, banners, and reports. To do this, hover over the found item's name and click the necessary icon on the right.

You can search by item name or ID.

How to get started

Create an Adfox account and configure the basic settings.

Mobile Ads SDK

Yandex Mobile Ads SDK is a service for managing ads in iOS and Android mobile apps.

To display ads in the app:
  • Enable the “Advertising in mobile apps” module in your Adfox account. The necessary banner types and templates will be added automatically.
  • For sites, sections, and placements, create the objects that are necessary for marking banner places in the app and get an ad tag.
  • Add your own campaigns and banners.
Next, integrate the mobile SDK into the app. This will allow you to:
  • Place ads in your mobile app on both iOS and Android devices.
  • Manage your sales.
  • Monetize traffic via an open Yandex auction.

When placing ads in the app, you can use the entire range of targeting. This way, you can display effective ads for the right audience and receive detailed statistical reports on a variety of parameters.

All monetization is managed via the Adfox interface.

For your own sales and monetization through an open auction, you can set levels from 1 to 10, 1 being the highest level.

When loading the app, the Adfox ad tag is requested.

Ads are selected either from your own commercial campaigns or via an auction, depending on your Adfox settings.

If an ad is selected based on auction results, a banner is sent to the app.

If no ad is selected based on auction results, the Adfox selection is made among backup ad or commercial campaigns at a level that's lower than auction-based monetization.

In this way, you use all the available platform media inventory in the app, and your ad revenue increases.

To start using the mobile SDK in your app, please contact support to enable the “Advertising in mobile apps” module. To monetize mobile traffic, you also need to enable the “Mobile advertising” module.
