How to install Addappter

Addappter is installed from the EXE file. You can get the file from the Addappter project manager in your store.

To install Addappter:

  1. Make sure that you have administrator rights on the computer.

  2. Run the installation file and wait for the installation to complete. You can't change the program location on the disk.

The newly installed Addappter contains only a few applications. If your computer is connected to the internet, the program will update the applications list as soon as it is started.

Installation problems

The installation doesn't start after launching the EXE file

Perhaps the installation was blocked by an antivirus system or firewall. Try adding the installation file to the list of allowed programs or disable the antivirus or firewall temporarily. If this doesn't help, contact your system administrator.

The SmartScreen filter blocks the installation

If you get the “Windows protected your PC” message after launching the installation file, click the More info link and then click Run anyway.

The program appears in English

Addappter uses the language set as the Windows system language. If you want Addappter to use a different language, change the system language on your computer. For details, see Windows help.
