A good airport, clean, tidy, with lots of souvenir shops and shops with all kinds of cigars and local alcohol! If you forgot something, you can definitely buy it on the way! The food is not thick, but quite decent sandwiches and sausages, coffee drinks, juices, lemonades), so you definitely won't stay hungry there)) Toilets, however, are paid there, but this is almost everywhere in Cuba, so it's better to have small money in stock) Overall, I liked it there! A nice, clean and tidy place, no frills, but with everything you need! 😊
I know this airport firsthand. For the fifth time, we arrive and depart from it. The airport has everything you need: a lot of cafes and souvenir shops. A large duty free area where you can buy rum, cigars and leather souvenirs. The only drawback is that many people do not accept any bank cards, only cash. The airport itself is not too big. There is a so-called ViP waiting room. It takes 40 minutes to drive from the airport to Varadero.
The airport itself is clean, tidy, and sometimes musicians play. The navigation is simple and intuitive.
I'm happy with everything, thank you.
Small, lots of shops, intuitive navigation. Everything would be fine, but two big BUTS: 1) there is no normal cafe, you can only buy something from dry food, and 2) any shoes are forced to take off during inspection. It doesn't matter if the sole is high or low, they almost never write about it, wear socks that you don't mind, or grab shoe covers when you fly out of Moscow. I was wearing flip-flops on my bare foot, forced to walk barefoot on a dirty floor, such a pleasure.
