The rating of this place is highly overrated. I believe there’s also some manipulation with reviews. The place is very small, located in a basement, not family-friendly, not really a restaurant or a café, but more like a cheap eatery. Service is poor, with rude treatment towards families with children (since they don’t drink alcohol, don’t order many dishes, they may even refuse to serve you—even if it’s raining outside and you’re standing there with a child and a stroller). The place is more reminiscent of a Soviet-style canteen, where one woman works as cashier, waitress, and cleaner all at once. The menu is standard and bland. Some dishes cannot be ordered individually, only with a minimum quantity—for example, khinkali (not homemade, they taste like factory-made frozen ones). Overall, we were very disappointed.

Classic menu, good food, nice staff, great location, good prices. Can be full, and I wouldn't mind if they wouldn't close quite so early, but that's nitpicking. A great place and a must for the classic Georgian feel.

It's a good place with delicious khinkali dishes. We visited all the most popular establishments in the city where they are made. I can say that khinkali is at the top of the list here. The dough is great, and so is the stuffing. Moderately sharp. We also had fried chicken, it was delicious too. Khinkali from 10 pieces, all dishes were served in 20-25 minutes, with a 70% hall load. The menu is only in Georgian and English. We were served by a very friendly guy who knew a little Russian, but nevertheless we did not switch to English. The establishment is located in the basement. I would recommend this place to have a delicious meal.

This is the dump of everything, guys. We tried it.: caesar with chicken, khinkali, chkmeruli, kupaty of both kinds (take them with giblets, they are sharper and richer, they are from the liver, heart, in short, very tasty), chicken kebab, rustic potatoes (just a dump, they bring it hot in a pan), chicken kebab, kharcho soup and chicken, and another vegetable salad with walnuts (it's gorgeous). And I'll tell you this, everything was very tasty and beautiful! We recommend it. By the way, the next door is also a cafe, there is a second hall in which there are also wooden benches (suddenly someone does not want to sit on chairs)

Delicious khinkalnaya. A vegetable salad with an unusual sauce, like cucumbers and tomatoes, but delicious. Khinkali is also delicious. The seller of the SIM card that I bought next door recommended this place. The interior of the khinkalnaya attracts attention, and there was live music in the evening. It's a pity that I didn't have enough time in Tbilisi. I'll definitely come back here next time. And most importantly, the prices, here the price is adequate compared to the cafes in the neighborhood. A bottle of 25-30 lari, in the neighboring glass of wine 15 lari.

We came on the recommendation of our guide Archie (I think he's entitled to a discount from the establishment) The place turned out to be really great. A small but fast-moving queue is possible. It's worth it. Very fast and friendly service of excellent waitresses. We all got khinkali, vegetable salad with nuts, the kids got lemonade, and I got a great pink saperavi. They brought everything fresh and delicious very quickly. The emotions are only positive, the receipt is the most pleasant at current prices in Tbilisi. I absolutely and unconditionally recommend this place to all lovers of delicious Georgian food.

All 3 stars are for khinkali, they are really the most delicious in my life. But everything else is a nightmare, what's inside, what's the service (because of the pile of people, everyone takes a long time to carry and even change), what's the lack of cleanliness…The maximum is to order quickly and even though there is on the street, because you don't want to stay in such a terrible place, the visitors themselves also arrange some kind of singing, noise, dancing. Keep in mind khinkali from 10 pcs and wine from 1 liter, you only need to go with the company

A great place for those who value taste and price. You'll have to put up with the queue at the entrance at a popular time (usually no longer than 15 minutes, though), the service with a light Soviet vibe, and the minimalist, almost canteen-like interior. In return, there are excellent khinkali and chacha (light), large portions of salads, and a variety of appetizers (excellent chicken liver). But if interior and service are important to you, look for another place - there are many of them in the area.

We visited this place on the tip of the guide, went in after the tour, we were lucky, there was an empty table. The order was accepted quickly enough, despite the full landing. The prices are excellent for the center, the food is very tasty, the portions are large, there is a variety of wine / chacha of excellent quality. After that we came here 3 more times. There are a lot of locals (which says a lot). Sometimes you need to be ready to wait for a table for up to 20 minutes. We will definitely return here on our next visit to Tbilisi.

This place was recommended by the guide with the words "it's delicious there and the locals don't like to overpay for food")) On weekends, it is possible to wait for boarding, we waited on Saturday evening for 20 minutes. Really tasty and affordable. We did not try khinkali, because the serving is at least 10 pcs. and they're huge, they couldn't have done it together (( We took lobio in a pot - mmmm, delicious, lettuce cucumbers + tomatoes and nut dressing, ojahuri. Beer is not Georgia's specialty, we just decided to try it, but lemonade is top👍 The location is convenient, near the old town and Freedom Square. I recommend to have

A wonderful Georgian restaurant with a variety of delicious dishes. Large portions, for company. There is almost always a full landing, as the place is very popular among locals and tourists. An incredible hostess who will definitely find a place for you to enjoy the vibrant taste of Georgia. Khinkali is large, a portion of 10 pieces, a lot of filling. Delicious fish with nuts and suluguni, juicy kebab and kebab. Delicious draft beer. A place you want to return to.

Good evening. Only from this establishment. Probably, someone was unlucky, but everything was great for us. Kitchen 10 points, we took khinkali, ojakhuri with veal and fresh salad. The service is also excellent, fast. We didn't have time to sit down right after the menu, a girl came over, speaks excellent Russian. There was no negativity left. Everything is fast and tasty and for a penny, the check was only 59 lari. In other restaurants, and we passed at least 7-8, the average check is GEL 110-140 for two. Recommend.

An institution as an institution. Nothing special. Khinkali is delicious, spicy and decently salted. But Caucasian spices and herbs are added to the stuffing, so the taste is good, such as you would expect in the Caucasus. We took a Greek salad to have a less dense dinner of 10 khinkali, and broke off. The Greek salad in the interpretation is just the salad leaves themselves, except for them there was a quarter of a tomato and a single small piece of Feta cheese, seasoned with vinegar. They don't pay attention to the comments.we took homemade red wine, the color was not naturally yellow, although it is not clarified, it is usually amber, it tastes normal. Without enthusiasm. In general, when planning a trip to Georgia, we expected spicy dishes, lots of meat, and barbecue. The mistake came out, they don't cook spicy here at all, but normal (not tasty) and acceptable cuisine needs to be looked for. The experience of having breakfast in a cafe on the way immediately opened our eyes

It's an amazing place! That's probably why you have to stand in line waiting for a table))) the cuisine is amazing, divine khinkali, khachapuri....prices are affordable (khinkali at 2 lari per 1 piece, draft beer-4.5 liters, khachapuri in Adjarian style-15.50 liters). By the way, this is where we tasted Natakhtari beer. The waiters and the bartender are very friendly, they speak Russian. In general, the Russians have a great attitude! I definitely recommend you to visit!

5 stars on the maps - and they are deserved . I found this restaurant on the maps - a huge number of fives. I decided to check it out because there are suspiciously many good reviews. It turned out that they were fair. It is located right around the corner of Freedom Square (8 Shalva Dadiani St.). The sign is only in Georgian, so you need to take a closer look. The interior is the simplest - like a stereotype of a Georgian restaurant, but in a good way. Cozy, homey. The staff is polite and attentive. There are children's chairs, a separate dining room has been allocated - this is a godsend for the family. We ordered a Georgian salad, Megrelian khachapuri, khinkali with cheese and wine. We waited for about 40 minutes. Meal: The salad is very tasty, the standard portion Khachapuri is simple, as it should be, it has not lost its taste even the next day Khinkali is warm and delicious, my daughter fell in love with them and learned to say "Inkali". The main advantage: the cheapest restaurant in the center of Solonaki with this quality. It's just unbelievable. Tip: specify the ingredients if you have allergies. We had an incident with a walnut, but it wasn't the restaurant's fault. Pros: cheap, tasty, courteous staff, there are separate rooms, children's chairs, excellent value for money. Cons: the sign is only in Georgian (difficult to find), there may be a wait. For a budget tourist, it must be included in the list. The 5-star rating is fully justified.

Dear traveler, if you are in search of that khachapuri with egg, Caesar salad with melting chicken and tarragon lemonade, if you are tired of wandering through the hospitable streets, conquering the peaks and descending, take a look into this blessed cellar. Here you will find shelter and relaxation from the heat, as well as get acquainted with the local gastronomy. The hospitable fairies will be happy and will tell you what to try in several languages (English, Georgian and Russian), so do not complain about the lack of a translator nearby.

It's noisy and the queues are unnecessarily long. The food is average. Overall, it's delicious, but not wow. There are similar items in the area that taste a little better. But it's cheaper than the other 4 restaurants in the neighboring streets. It didn't make an impression. On the plus side: the food is good, the wine is good, the price is normal, the location is excellent.

It's delicious here!! Since 2016, every time I am in Tbilisi, I always come here. Khinkali was eaten many places in Georgia, but the most delicious are here! A serving of 10 pieces or more seems like a lot, but take it safely. Georgian salad with nuts has also been tried many places, Velyaminov has the most delicious dressing and a large portion. The establishment is open until 21:30, but if you come at 21:15 they will feed you and will not say a word that it's time for them to close. The waitresses speak Russian and English, the service is fast, everything is clear. The menu is large, the prices are affordable. We also tried kharcho, badrijani, pork kebab - everything is delicious, but my favorite here is khinkali.

The quality of the food is not bad, but during the week of our stay we met more delicious places, but the service was very unpleasant. The waitress greets and serves with such a dissatisfied look that you want to leave right away, before you even had time to ask her a question, she literally ran away from the table, not wanting to tell or explain anything. In other establishments, we met with excellent service and friendly attitude. As for khinkali, it's too peppery for me personally, the children, of course, didn't eat at all. Although, again, they ate with pleasure in other establishments.

Great cafe/restaurant! Don't think that if you haven't been licked from head to toe and there was no "respect in your eyes", then it's bad here. The main thing is that it's delicious here. I liked it the first time, so we visited Velyaminov throughout the next week. We tried khinkali, shish kebab, kharcho, ostri, khachapuri (in Mengreli and Imeritin), kupaty, salad with tomatoes, some kind of dish with mushrooms (my wife ordered and ate, so I don't know the name). Khinkali is super! Attention - portions start from 10 pieces (optimal for two, if you have ordered something else). My wife really liked the pork kebab, sometimes with bones (with bones for an amateur, it's awesome without them). Beer and wine are just a song for lovers, since a liter of wine costs 9 lari, and beer costs exactly the same amount. I would like to mention the waitresses separately - thank you for your kindness, responsiveness and efficiency!

We visited the institution because of the high ratings on Yandex. There is no menu in Russian. A very large selection of everything. But I had to translate. We ordered lula with mutton and suluguni, mushrooms with suluguni. Very tasty and juicy. We wanted to try the good local wine by the glass, but the waiter said they didn't have glasses. I had to take a bottle, but the wine was warm. It is not possible to drink. There was no ice, although they promised to serve it. It turned out that the wine that we took for 40 GEL in stores costs 10. Disappointment. We wanted to try khinkali, but they only start from 10 pieces. It's a lot for two, it's a pity that it's not like in all establishments starting from 5.

We were in this cafe only once, before we left. But we plan to get here in September. I'll try it in order.: 1. Food. Five out of five points. Large portions. Delicious. Satisfying. 2. Interior. Very simple, but authentic and deeply Georgian. Tables and studio made of natural wood, idle, but original dishes and appliances. 3. It is a pity that there is no menu in Russian, because it is so easy to make your visitors happy. Please add a menu in Russian. 4. There is no wi-fi, not critical, but it is always convenient to call a taxi to the hotel. 5. The staff was friendly, smiling, joking with us. 6. The prices are very reasonable! We will definitely return, and I wish the cafe prosperity! Thank you to the owner and all the employees of the establishment, we feel at home here.

It's not the first time here, we were in the summer and in February, it's very tasty and simple, the locals recommend it, and it's also very affordable. But khinkali is a minimum of 10 pieces, so you shouldn't go alone, the salad can be made without nut dressing if you have allergies. the entire meal cost about 70 lari (a jug of homemade white wine, 10 khinkalek, khachapuri in Megrelian style, two vegetable salads) It's for three, barely finished 😆

Khinkali is delicious, but the minimum order is from 10 pcs. Order beef. I've tried it in several places and it's the best here (some of the dough is too thick, some of it is too salty).
