One of the most beautiful churches in old Nessebar, especially in the evening, is wonderfully illuminated. Nearby, and throughout Nessebar, there are many cozy shops and restaurants. And there are many more interesting buildings. The feeling of a holiday is created by the warm weather, ancient streets, cheerful crowds of strolling guests. At the entrance to the city, a piper meets (I guarantee for 12 years of his work), he plays beautifully! You can walk around the whole island along the shore, there is a good road with views of the sea and Sunny Beach, and St. Vlas. I come every time I come, and I never get bored!
It's true, all this is just a summer experience.
It is a pity that time did not spare the basilica. By and large, only the walls of the Church of St. Sophia have been preserved. For the Orthodox, it is a holy place.
