Big and interesting market very close to the railway station. You can find fresh fruit and vegetables, live fish, honey, wine... and there is a department for shoes, that as you can see from the picture, has a huge selection. You might find a bigger selection for clothes in the underground passage to the station.

Parking is a different story, it's very simple. Congestion, traffic jams. Only for a fee, and then there is no place to stand. There were several parking spaces, but we weren't allowed to get up, they only let their own people in. That's why I don't recommend driving, we had to take a taxi back.

I would not recommend driving into this market in my car, even on a weekday during working hours there are a huge number of cars and narrow alleys with dead ends and vendors with bags, they almost drove into us personally. It is worth either parking further away or going to a paid parking (3-7lari per hour). The market itself looks like it was built in 2010, everything is shabby, there is a lot of dirt, foreign smells. We stopped by to buy disposable shoes for canyoning, the merchant refused to bargain, although it was an ordinary tent, in the end we definitely bought a pal for 120 GEL (it could be found cheaper).
