Its a very interesting place to visit, beautiful rock formations, cool river running next to it, its downhill to visit and if you need it there is a small tram that brings you back up for a minimal fee ($1.50 ish).

Basalt! Like on Fjords) It's Monumentally Natural! The locals make their own wooden blocks from this quarry. There is a barrier at the entrance and the inscription 500 shillings, but you can pass through like this. Very atmospheric! There is a rock mine and there are pierced hexagonal columns hanging from the eaves, the atmosphere is very disturbing to stand under them) I recommend you to visit! The paths are laid with stone, horses and so on, there is an antique stone bridge nearby, you can take good photos from it! There is a fish restaurant nearby, to the right of it there is a descent to the river, mountainous, cold, you can hear it walking along the bridge and along the symphony of lights, so this place has a side, you can wash, wash, meditate in the shade of trees, chicardos!

The Symphony of Stones is located 30 km from Yerevan. Natural eco-guide. It is about one kilometer long. As you know, nature is the best sculptor. Overhanging stone masses, like organ pipes, shortened stone pillars, like a forest glade strewn with stumps. An interesting sight. You will have to walk along a wide tiled road with an inclination of up to 20-25 degrees. One-way railings along the path. A small tiled pavilion where you can have a snack and turn gray. If you have problems with movement, you can use a golf cart running along the road with two covered trailer trailers, one seat is about 100 rubles. The entrance fee was 1,500 drams (about 320₽) per person. A mountain river runs nearby, and it looks like a sterlet is swimming in a small pond. Like it.

An interesting monument. Yes, practically a new model, yes, everything is very simple. But the atmosphere itself is real stones that remember centuries of history. The foundation of the church, the remains of a sauna with a mosaic, on which bare feet walked many hundreds of years ago. In general, the location is mandatory to visit from Yerevan.

The place is stunningly beautiful! The entrance fee is 300 drams. There is a cafe inside where you can order mulled wine and coffee. Nearby there is a restaurant, cafe, points of sale of local souvenirs. The place is stunning in beauty, an incredible miracle of nature. It's definitely one of the must-haves in Yerevan

"Symphony of Stones"🏔✨ My colleagues and I went to one of the most magical places — the "Symphony of Stones". It was powerful! You know that feeling when your breath stops … Sky, mountains, water... There is an incredible contrast in this place: on the one hand, the primeval power and force of nature, and on the other, absolute calm and tranquility. It seems that here you can just "exhale" all the excess. A couple of useful tips for those who will gather: ─️ Time: We were in the morning, and it was the perfect solution — there weren't many people, you could enjoy the silence. 🚋 Climbing: If you don't want to walk uphill, there is a tram — it helps a lot! ☕️ Rest: There are many benches on the way. Take your time, sit down, take a break and just soak up this splendor. It's worth it. A place that is definitely worth a visit to everyone. ❤️ Recommend 👌

THE SYMPHONY OF STONES An impressive geological monument of Armenia. What is it? Basalt columns about 50 m high in the gorge of the Azat River, near the pagan temple of Garni. They were formed as a result of the cooling of volcanic lava and look as if they were specially carved. In fact, apparently, it was just the most energetically beneficial way to crack))) no design, no architect. Why "symphony"? The columns resemble giant organ pipes hanging over the gorge. Hence the name. It's like nature created a musical instrument. Photos don't convey scale. When you stand at the bottom and look at these pipes, it's really impressive how nature created such a geometry. advice. Combine it with a visit to Garni and Geghard. The route is about half a day. About 30 km from Yerevan. In one of the photos, I show the ancient pagan temple of Garni, located at the top.

We came to Armenia, rented a car and came here first. Not far from Yerevan, and the place is really beautiful and unusual. The entrance is paid, the guy collects money for parking, but all this is questionable somehow and most likely illegal. Therefore, I advise you to drive through the sights a little further and leave the car.The gorge itself is very cool. The multimillion-year-old volcanic eruption, when lava flowed down, created such a miracle of nature. There is a mountain river below, there is a train that will take you and bring you, but in general, it's a thrill just to walk there. After all, the place is unique and I have heard such a miracle that you can only find it in Mexico and Armenia.

A terrific place! To say that it's beautiful is to say nothing. We were on January 21st. Still, there were plenty of people. This place deserves your attention. If possible, come with a guide. To tell you everything. We read in advance to keep up to date, but I'm sure the guide would have told us much more interesting things about the history of these places. Incredible photos, gorgeous views!

It's an amazing place. We visited independently with a family with a child of 6 years old, after the Garni temple. We were already tired and doubtful whether to go to the Symphony or not. But we went and were completely satisfied! Beauty, grandeur, and strangeness!

"Symphony of Stones" ("Basalt Organ"), Garni gorge, Armenia. It's an amazing place! The huge hexagonal basalt columns (up to 50 m high) resemble organ pipes — an unforgettable sight! The atmosphere is mesmerizing, especially when combined with the noise of the Azat River. It's a bit difficult to reach, but definitely worth a visit! 🏔️

An amazing place in Armenia! This is the first time I've seen such a natural phenomenon, it's even a little scary when you walk, it feels like stones are falling. It was in the middle of August 2025, so the sun was warm, but it didn't allow you to enjoy the view. From the gorge you can see the Garni Temple.

This attraction was visited on the tour route, the road to the place itself was good, recently renovated. The place is beautiful, it is impressive that all these stones are "made" by nature. Downstairs they sold hot drinks, local sweets, mulled wine on wine was delicious and the way back up the mountain was easy) I recommend visiting this place, it looks very different in person.

The Symphony of Stones is a unique natural monument in Armenia, located near Yerevan in the gorge of the Azat River. This impressive rock massif was formed 40 million years ago from solidified volcanic lava, forming regular hexagonal and pentagonal basalt columns up to 50 meters high. The landmark is also known as the "Basalt Organ" because of its resemblance to the pipes of a musical instrument. The facility is under state protection and is one of the main tourist gems of the country. To visit, you must purchase a ticket for AMD 300. The territory is equipped with a route with several viewing platforms, including a stone bridge. Tourists are advised to take water, a hat and comfortable shoes. Along the route, you can see the nests of swifts, wash in a mountain river and admire an artificial pond with fish. It is important to follow the safety rules: do not climb the cliffs and do not make noise. Transportation services are available for convenience. This amazing place demonstrates the power of natural forces and is a must-visit for everyone who comes to Armenia. You can read more in my Zen article: https://dzen.ru/a/aEmVuN7WoVOHHYg2

It's a very atmospheric place. There is a river nearby and views of the gorge. It takes your breath away from all this power and splendor. At the end of the trail, it is fashionable to see the Garni temple on an elevation. The only downside is probably problematic parking. It's a very nice place.

It's a very beautiful place! You can really hear the "Symphony of Stones" here if you stand in silence and just listen! The sheer cliffs with "staloctites" impress with a variety of stone patterns. We went far into the depths, along a mountain river, and everywhere there was a feeling of merging with nature. After the walk, we drove to the Trout Farm cafe (it seemed to be called that) with a very tasty, hearty meal. The portions are huge!

One of the most beautiful places in Armenia. A fascinating place. Photogenic. A must-visit, especially since it is located on the very popular Garni-Geghard route. So you don't need to plan your trip separately. The inspection time will take from 20 minutes, even enough for a group trip. If you want to stay longer, you will either have to negotiate or take an individual tour along this route. On the way back, our driver and I stopped at a cafe opposite the Charents Arch. The service may not be top-notch, but the barbecue and wine were top-notch. And the price too.

The photo fails to convey emotions and impressions. It's very beautiful and unusual. Nature has created beauty! The route is short, but it can be a bit exhausting for the physically unprepared. There's a slight climb on the way back. But it is possible to overcome this climb by train.🤣

A very fascinating, interesting natural place near Yerevan! The Symphony of Stones is a rock massif that looks like a stone organ. There is a walking trail down here, it takes about 20 minutes to walk one way, and 20 minutes back. There is also a local taxi in the form of a steam train)) if you go down, there will be a mountain river on the left, a mountain range on the right, many swallows fly, pay attention, they have a lot of nests here) The location is very interesting! I advise you to look here if you come to Yerevan.

Very beautiful. An interesting geological monument)) good Armenians, as usual, take a flair for the entrance (300 drams) and a flair for parking 200 drams. But it's still beautiful and you can understand everyone)))... if you are too lazy to walk, there is a cheerful train running)). Along the way, the bridge was built in the 12th century , it looks more reliable than modern ones . Cool place )...and in a small dam, trout, carp and sterlets swim near the rock.

A magical creation of the nature of Armenia. The Symphony of Stone is the name of this beautiful place. The high cliffs are shaped like a huge musical instrument, an organ. Convenient walking descent, very spectacular! The beauty of the basalt stone in its geometric shape is fascinating. The noise of the mountain river will complement the flavor of your walk.

We were amazed by the extraordinary beauty of this place. For the first time, we saw a mysterious rock made of volcanic lava, in the form of many hexagons resembling organ pipes. Surprisingly, inside this rock there are plenty of nests of swallows feeding their chicks. The purest mountain river flows between the rocks. There is a small pond with colorful fish. If you are tired, you can travel by electric locomotive or just take a nice break on the benches, enjoying the sounds of the surrounding nature. At such moments, you can't help but wonder how uniquely everything has been created: "The invisible qualities of God have been clearly visible since the world was created, and we can see them by examining his creations. All of them testify to his eternal power and serve as proof that he is God..." Be sure to visit this place!

At the end there is a small cafe kiosk with juice and ancient drinks! You can get back by electric trailer 500 AMD(110 RUB)
