By the standards of Ventspils, it's not a bad place. The menu is relatively wide, there are several children's dishes. On one of our two visits, the children were offered coloring books and pencils so that they would have something to do while waiting for an order, which was very nice. The friendly staff seems to speak Russian. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes is not too high. If there are two times here and both times the food made a low impression, therefore only 4 stars. The restaurant is quite popular and on one of our visits they had a queue and we had to wait about 40 minutes. It seems that this situation is not uncommon for them in the summer, so it should be kept in mind, especially when considering them for a summer dinner on Friday or Saturday. I suppose that reserving a table in advance can save the day.

A great cafe. It has been stable for 20 years. You can't get in right away. It needs to be reserved.
