The name translates as "Take a look, friend!". There are nuances, and personally I don't quite like the atmosphere inside, but maybe it will be more comfortable on the flight. , Advantages: + A real Georgian atmosphere — noisy, fun, with dancing and toasts (even if you didn't ask for them). + Music: lively, incendiary, somewhere between "I want to dance!" and "Give me more khinkali and I'll sing it too." + Food like grandma's in Tbilisi: khinkali with juicy filling, khachapuri with a dream crust, shish kebab — juicy and fragrant. Cons: – It's noisy — not the kind of restaurant where you can have a romantic heart-to-heart. There is more about feasts, toasts and casual acquaintances with tourists from Saratov. – It can take a long time to wait for an order, especially if the hall is full, and the band has already delayed "Suliko". – The prices are slightly above average — you will have to pay extra for the atmosphere and dancing. Good afternoon, everyone. I decided to write a review about visiting the Georgian cuisine restaurant "Shemoikhede Genatsvale". The restaurant is located in the historical part of the seaside resort town of Batumi. Very close to the promenade, the "mecca" of tourists and visitors to the city. We visited this restaurant twice, with a large group, in order to have dinner, enjoy a pleasant music program and soak up the flavor of Georgian hospitality. This restaurant was chosen on the advice of friends and described by them as a very decent establishment. The institution also has a very good rating in Yandex maps. At the time of our visit, it was 4.7, which is a high indicator. Well, everything is in order. 1. Maintenance. There were no questions. Everything was cultured and polite, a table was offered, and the table was quickly set. They helped me figure out the menu, answered all the questions about the dishes. The first time it was served by a man, the second time it was served by a woman. Top score, thank you for such a pleasant service. Yes, I completely forgot to tell you. The place is very passable and visited. Therefore, it is better to book in advance, especially on weekends. 2. The menu. The menu is very large, if not huge. It is written competently, in three languages: Georgian, English and Russian. All the traditional Georgian cuisine is available there. If something is unclear, feel free to ask the waiters, they will definitely help you figure it out. 3. Dishes. During two visits, we tried to take on a variety of positions. Salad of fresh vegetables with nuts - 5+. Eggplant with nuts (cold appetizer) - not in rolls, but definitely 5 anyway. Khinkali is a traditional dish of Georgian cuisine. There are several variations here. We took the traditional ones. Very tasty and properly cooked. Of course, 5. I advise you to take them, because it is in Batumi that not everyone knows how to cook them. Grilled suluguni on a spit. Just top class. It flew across our plates instantly. 5+. Very tasty. Khachapuri in Adjarian. A wonderful ratio of the right(!!!) suluguni dough and cheese. The cheese stretches, the bun with egg yolk and butter just takes you to nirvana. Top class. 5+. Veal stew on ketsi. A top dish in my opinion. The meat is tender, the vegetables are delicious, the dressing is delicious. I highly recommend it. 5+++. Kuchmachi. There are two types of this dish. Chicken giblets and veal. I do not recommend taking chicken ones. Hard and rubbery giblets are obtained. Veal is a completely different matter - tender, juicy. Fans of this dish will definitely enjoy it. The result: chicken kuchmachi - 3, Beef - 5. The traditional Georgian dish is ojakhuri. It is presented in three types: pork, beef and mushroom. It was taken from beef. The portion is huge, you can safely take it for two, it's very difficult to eat alone. The potatoes in ojahuri are delicious, the meat is tender, and the vegetables are fresh. Of course, the rating is 5. I recommend it. Chicken Shikmeruli. A delicious dish, a large enough portion. I was a little disappointed, because it seemed that the cream was cut off. A little weak. I'll put 3. On the amateur. Veal chashushuli. It is also served on ketsi. Delicious, a portion per person. Rating 5. They took chicken from the shish kebab. It's a pretty good dish, but a little dry. Rating 4. I noticed that shish kebab is not a Georgian dish at all. They rarely know how to cook it deliciously. And, in my opinion, there are problems with meat for barbecue in Georgia. It is very difficult to find juicy, tasty meat. Therefore, I do not recommend taking these positions in a cafe. 4. Drinks. There are few positions here, unlike in the kitchen. There are both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Very tasty homemade wine, at a decent price. Vodka and cognacs are about 1.5-2 times more expensive than store-bought ones, but this is normal. 5. The atmosphere. In the evening, after 20.00, the music program begins in the cafe. A girl with a very beautiful voice performs Georgian songs. Interesting, fun. It's a little loud, you need to take this into account when visiting this institution. The restaurant's interior is very colorful, stylish, and unusual. It's like getting into old Georgia with its unique hospitality, cordiality and extremely delicious cuisine. 6. Prices. The price tag is quite reasonable considering that the establishment is located in the tourist center of the resort town. On the first evening, dinner for 5 adults and 1 child with drinks cost us GEL 220. On the second evening, it was a little more expensive - 280, but we also had to take some of the dishes with us, because we overestimated our strength and could not eat everything we ordered.In my opinion, the price tag is very humane, considering that everything is delicious, excellent service, and bright musical accompaniment. Yes, I forgot to tell you. There is no standard addition of 10% for service, as in most restaurants in Georgia. Therefore, everyone is free to leave tips at their discretion. To summarize. One of my favorite restaurants in Georgia, and not only that. I definitely and strongly recommend visiting this place. I hope that you will also not be disappointed by the Georgian hospitality, delicious gastronomy and authentic atmosphere. Thanks to all the staff of this restaurant for two unusual evenings.
