An incredibly beautiful place! A real oriental fairy tale! A place where everyone should visit! The territory of QasrAl Watan impresses with its scale. The distances are huge, so buses run through the territory for the convenience of visitors, which is very convenient. You can explore the Presidential Palace either on your own or as part of a tour group. We chose a self-examination, which took a total of 4.5 hours! Here you want to take a leisurely walk, examining every detail, take beautiful photos and videos in daylight and at sunset, enjoy the architecture and grandeur of this place, sit in a cozy cafe, relax by the numerous fountains and of course explore every room of the palace! Inside, the palace looks very majestic, the halls are decorated with marble, there are music rooms, a library, a room with gifts from the rulers of other states, dining rooms, prayer rooms. 30 minutes after sunset, the laser performance begins -sooo beautiful! I recommend everyone to visit this magical place!
An amazing place!!! I strongly recommend an individual visit, and not with a tour group! Here you need much more time for a leisurely tour of the palace and a mandatory walk through the territory and the park with fountains (during an excursion visit you will not have time for this). We lived in a hotel within a 30-minute walk. In the middle of November, after 15-30, we slowly reached (there is no longer any heat) before the visit center, we bought tickets ourselves at the box office (at the time of the visit 75 dirhams (if you take 65 dirhams on the website)). We passed the inspection and got to the palace by bus. We walked around the territory in the light of day, then inspected the palace, and by sunset we went through the territory again. The beauty is unforgettable! The fountains around the palace and the labyrinths of bushes around them are very beautiful. 30 minutes after sunset, the laser performance begins - interesting and unusual.
At the entrance to the palace and further inside, there is an opportunity to take a photo with a photographer, then they put your photo on the interiors of the palace and views from the street. Some shots are successful, some are not - see for yourself whether you need it or not. And, yes, of course it's not free.
I don't see any point in describing what's in the palace, look at the photos better.
There is a good cafe inside the palace: have a snack and drink coffee
The territory of the palace is impressive in scale. The distances are huge, so buses run from the entrance to the palace for tourists, which is very convenient. Externally, the palace looks majestic and concise, and you can make beautiful shots in the colonnades. The interior of the palace is very richly decorated, there are museum halls. We also got to see a performance by local dancers with a national dance. Be sure to visit the toilet, I'm sure you haven't been to such a toilet yet.
A large palace with a park, very beautiful, both airy and monumental. In the evenings, after sunset, there is a bright light show with a projection on the facade of the building. We came just in time for the show.
The attendance of the show was organized very well and promptly. Buying tickets - boarding a bus immediately - a short tour of the park - time for an external inspection of the palace - a show - boarding buses and returning.
We watch the show from a certain place, where everyone is invited to go in advance (there are plenty of places, you can hear and hear well).
Since this is an active government building, there are guards everywhere, they are not allowed outside the perimeter of the permitted territory. But everything is very correct and respectful.
There is a cafe in the palace itself (not cheap), but if you come to the show, you need to hurry up very much, as it closes just at that time.
The show is beautiful, but without the wow effect, going here just to watch it is probably not very justified, it is better to combine it with a visit to the palace and the park.
The Presidential Palace is definitely one of those places in Abu Dhabi that is a must-visit. It's just beautiful. But keep in mind that you can comfortably stay on the street next to the palace from November to February, during the rest of the months you will be like in a frying pan. It's cool inside, and the air conditioners are working. Comfortable buses will take you from the ticket offices to the palace and back too. I was on New Year's holidays, there were few people, the queue for tickets took 10-15 minutes, which, for example, cannot be said about the Dubai frame, where during this period the queue was for 2 hours, they did not even try. In general, holidays in Abu Dhabi, unlike Dubai, are quieter, there are significantly fewer people and somehow everything is calm, there is no feeling that you are in a large metropolis, where everyone is running somewhere, fussing, and there are fewer visitors from India and Pakistan.
We traveled to the UAE in February 2025 and lived in Dubai. We took an excursion to Abu Dhabi. A full-day tour, we visited several beautiful and interesting places, including Qasr Al Watan. This is the current presidential palace, so no one lives there. There are receptions of high-ranking officials and political figures who come to the UAE. The place is incredibly beautiful, with a very pleasant color scheme in the design. I was incredibly pleased to be in this palace. We went for a walk, looked at the halls on the ground floor, and that's about it. Only the ground floor is open to tourists, which is understandable. I won't go a second time, of course, but it's probably worth seeing the beauty once.
And there's also a cool egg-shaped installation called "the power of words." The inscription is a direct quote from the words of the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed: "Wealth is not money or oil; wealth lies in people, and it is useless if it is not dedicated to serving people." A wisdom that touched to the depths of my soul)))
The palace! The majestic facade! The interior is striking with the ornament, the pattern of the walls, the domed vaults of the ceilings in each hall, it is beautiful! I was impressed by the library! Buses run through the park, very convenient, no need to walk under the scorching sun. They check things carefully before entering. I recommend you to visit!
The architecture of the palace is simply breathtaking, and the interior is striking with its luxury and attention to detail. Majestic halls, ornate interiors and an atmosphere of grandeur make this place a must-visit. I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the beauty and splendor.
The palace is fantastic. It's breathtaking. Such splendor... Architecture: "there are no fairy tales to tell, no pen to describe" a lot of huge halls with large, magnificent domes. Everything, absolutely all the walls are painted with mosaics... Every drawing, every millimeter has been verified. There are also exhibition halls, and
A stunningly beautiful palace. It impresses with its scope and splendor! Vast halls, luxurious natural stone decoration. A huge territory adjacent to the palace. The only thing is a little bit
It's a shame, you can't walk around the entire territory of this palace ensemble.
A gorgeous palace! Very beautiful, the chandeliers are amazing! There are not enough gifts in the gift hall, I thought there would be a lot more. A very beautiful shell sculpture.
Long before our trip to Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Watan made an impression on us - my son and I watched on TV how warmly and solemnly our president was received here.
And so we are driving along the road where the motorcades of presidents and monarchs from all over the world were moving. Unlike them, we traveled by bus.
Everything is intuitive - from the bus stop you have to go to the Visit center - if you need to buy tickets (my son and I have 95 dirhams left), if the tickets are already in hand, there is a separate entrance.
After that, you go through the security check and take a place in the shuttle queue (they take a comfortable bus from the Visit center to the palace). The waiting time is short.
We arrived closer to 5 p.m. to stay at the show (in March, it started at 7 p.m.). But two hours was not enough - next time we would arrive earlier, so that we could still walk around the palace. Closer to closing, the palace becomes as empty as possible - and you can safely take pictures.
When you approach the palace, the scale and architectural power immediately take your breath away. Snow—white domes, endless arches, marble shining in the sun - everything seemed to have descended from the pages of an oriental fairy tale. It's especially magical towards sunset.
Inside, the palace impresses even more: huge halls, gorgeous huge chandeliers, high vaults, stained glass windows, murals, everything is so majestic and large-scale that one would like to say "very expensive... very rich... very impressive."
Every corner of the palace left an indelible impression - especially the library, the hall of knowledge and the hall of gifts - they were looking for what the Russian Federation had given them, but they did not find it.
There's so much gold here that even the latrines are gilded too.
The evening light show wasn't just beautiful, it was touching and unifying. We were sitting waiting for the show: young Germans next to us, an elderly Asian couple on the other side, and someone was arguing animatedly in Spanish behind us... The last time there was such a feeling of unity with the world was in 2014, when the Sochi Olympics took place. People from all over the world are sitting next to each other, smiling, looking at the same palace, at the same lights.
In March and early April, take a light sweater or scarf with you, it was cool in the evening.
The show time varies depending on the season.
In the palace, you can take memorable photos as souvenirs. Expensive. But we were able to bargain with them).
I recommend it for a family visit, in beautiful clothes ( ☝️they don't let you in shorts ) - there are a lot of locations for photos.
This is something! From location, to scale, from architecture to purpose, everything is impressive! And it 's not even a residence , they just built it for meetings and summits . In a word, the Arabs)) Definitely ready to visit! Preferably closer to sunset, it's very beautiful there, closer to the sea, if you approach, you'll get to the entire facade of the palace on 3D mapping
This is not just a palace, it is the Presidential Palace, where the Sheikh of the Emirates meets the top officials of other states.
The palace is open to the public. A ticket at the ticket office costs 75 dirhams, and you can buy it for 65 on the palace's website, but you will need a foreign bank card to pay on the website. @letaemsami posted a travel guide to Abu Dhabi on Telegram.
But please note that the ticket offices and the entrance to the residence are located at these coordinates.:
24.456299, 54.311579
By the way, there is a golden installation in the hall in the form of a huge egg, which weighs 6 tons. It contains the words of the first President, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan. They sound like this: "Wealth is not money and oil. Wealth is in people. Wealth is useless if it is not meant to serve people."
A luxurious residence, as I understand it, for receiving high-ranking guests, holding conferences and awards, and, at the same time, an attraction. It's not difficult to get there, either, and unlike the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, you can walk almost anywhere, not along a pre-prepared corridor of tape fences and guards, but it's as beautiful as it gets.
It looks expensive, but the place itself is empty - there is no history, no practical sense, There was just a lot of money, I put on all the best at once
Nice cafe at the palace
If you come in the evening, then everyone in the cafe is waiting for the evening performance.
And this is included in the price of the visit
But there is almost an hour between the closing of the museum and the beginning of the performance on the street.
It was cool in winter, plus they insisted on sitting on stone benches - it was very cold
Then, uh, they sorted the crowd pretty strictly and put them on buses.
The show itself is 15 minutes of filmstrip on the wall of the white palace, if you came in the evening, why not, but it didn't impress you.
I really liked this place: a beautiful palace, a beautiful area around. Inside, all the decorations are in gold and Arabic ornaments. It is interesting to see how presidents work: a meeting room, a library, a banquet hall. There is a room with gifts to the President of the UAE from other countries: the Korans impressed. There is also a mini-museum about the history of Arabic science. All the exhibits are signed in English, if you know, then it is clear what is where.
The ticket costs $ 18 (bought on a tripster with a Russian card with a transfer to rubles). So an adult ticket costs 65 dirhams. You can buy it on the palace's website (Russian cards do not pay). Clothing: all knees and shoulders are covered, both men and women. You don't need a handkerchief.
The beauty is incredible, super photos, worth a visit!
Definitely worth a visit. Moreover, it won't take much time. And it's not that expensive. It was quite informative, among other things, there is a kind of museum inside with exhibits in the form of old books on medicine, musical instruments and navigation maps. The vaults, the height of the main dome and its diameter are impressive.
A beautiful place, especially at night! I recommend everyone to visit! Get a lot of positive emotions! Take a walk to the sounds of exotic birds and relaxing music!
It's a masterpiece! The grandeur and splendor are amazing!
Qasr Al Watan is the current Presidential Palace and a cultural landmark where anyone can touch the history and traditions of the UAE. Guests can not only admire the beauty of the palace, but also see exhibitions and expositions that tell about the rich culture and history of the country.
We visited the palace during a tour of Abu Dhabi. Strict control .Buses run from the entrance to the palace. You can explore the territory only from the window. Armed guards.
It really needs to be looked at. It takes your breath away from the scale of the beautiful. We were lucky that there were no meetings, as the visit would have been closed to tourists. Meeting room, banquet hall, library. A hall with an exhibition of gifts from countries. A restaurant for tourists, a gift shop.
Just a must-visit!
I came in transit for 1 day to Abu Dhabi.
Qasr Al Watan is one of the best places I have visited. Wonderful views, beautiful territory and architecture, wherever you look, everything fascinates and enchants with its beauty!
There is a very good organization here. To begin with, the entrance is not through the main arch, but from the side. Two passes for people who bought a ticket in advance on the website and for those who did not buy. The ticket price for an adult is 75 dihrams.
Clothes should cover the shoulders and knees! Do not shine through!
After buying/checking tickets, go through a bag check, as there is a list of some things that you cannot take with you.
And then you expect a bus that will take you straight to the Palace through the territory.
In the palace, the time on the ticket is unlimited. You can also go inside or out as many times as you want. The territory outside is very beautiful and clean. It's cooler inside, but it's also beautiful and clean. There are several halls inside, with small descriptions in English and Arabic.
There is a cafe where you can have a snack, the prices are slightly cheaper than at the airport.
You also need to return by bus.
A bus will take you from the entrance to the palace.
Tickets on the website cost 65 dirhams, at the box office 75. That was the main thing, then about the palace itself.
It is a very monumental and beautiful building in which you will not spend much time, but you will not regret your visit. It seems that such buildings are being built as future historical monuments.
It is a very beautiful place, where the scale of the hall is most striking, in which there are no load-bearing columns supporting the arches of a huge dome.
It's a very beautiful place. Like everything in the UAE, it is impressive in size. The snow-white palace. It's worth seeing with your own eyes. There are no crowds of tourists for some reason, which in general cannot but please. Girls need to cover their shoulders and legs. If you are not prepared, you will be given a skirt and a stole
Everything about the UAE is big, beautiful and rich)
The palace is truly rich and beautifully decorated, with a large park attached to the palace! Magnificent!
Very atmospheric! Well, super straight! And so everything is tasteful, there is no pretentiousness, it is interesting to look at every chandelier, every wall...
I think it is necessary to visit such places in order to understand this country better)
The magnificent, functioning Qasr Al Watan Presidential Palace is a real attraction of the UAE. There is really something to see here, luxurious marble walls and floors, large-scale rooms decorated with gold. There are expositions of memorable gifts to the sheikh in the palace. In general, all the beauty and scale cannot be expressed in words, it is better to see it once, I definitely recommend you to visit. Thank you for your time.
Abu Dhabi
Qasr Al Watan Presidential Palace -
The Palace of Nations .
An incredibly beautiful palace, several huge halls , luxury , luxury around, the rulers do not live here, the palace receives guests and holds various meetings of dignitaries and receptions at the state level.
I definitely recommend coming here for an excursion.
There is a Golden Sphere in the palace, which is made not only of beautiful patterns,
but also calligraphically designed statements by the creator of the country of the Emirates, former President Sheikh Zayed.
The golden sculpture "The Power of Words", which we
saw in the Qasr Al-Watan Palace, impresses
not only with its huge size, but also with the meaning embedded in this work:
"Wealth is not money or oil;
wealth lies in people, and it is useless if it is not dedicated to serving people."
How well, clearly and aptly said.
GOLDEN WORDS!
The Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi! A must-visit! The most beautiful place. It is difficult to tell and convey beauty in words. Just look at it! The beauty is incredible.
A very beautiful place, we were in the afternoon, closer to sunset. After entering, he picks up the shuttle and takes it to the palace, there were 10 minutes in line. It is very beautiful inside the palace, there is a park on the side, go there, there is a garden of eden :-) Necklace parrots fly at the entrance)
It impresses with its scope and splendor! Stunning halls, luxurious finishes, a beautiful green area, but moving around it by bus, from the checkpoint to the palace. Strict control, long queues, but everything is fast and debugged.
Qasr Al Watan is a very beautiful place to visit! There are always a lot of people there, but it's worth it! A very huge residence! The view is simply stunning! We will not repeat the architecture!
It is very beautiful, a huge palace, lots of gold, jewelry. There are many reception halls inside, a museum of gifts from presidents from all over the world.
The Presidential Palace! Grandeur and luxury. A great place, very beautiful. Everything is very beautifully arranged on the territory of the palace. Inside the palace there is a hall with gifts for the president from other states. Meeting room, dining room, library, etc.
A beautiful palace, very convenient to visit. Buses pick you up from the entrance, and they bring you back. There is a lot to see and admire inside. The territory near the palace is huge.
UAE/ The Miracle of Oriental luxury/Qasr Al-Watan, the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.
It's really worth a look. However, it is very difficult to get there. You have to book a tour, you will be brought and there is a strict dress code for tourists. Men should wear trousers and a shirt, women should strictly wear a dress. There should not be an open one from the body, otherwise the guards will simply not let you in. The check is at the highest level, like at the airport. They force you to take off your belt, watch (everything that rings) after the inspection, you wait inside the territory for a bus that will take you not mediocre to the building. Then the inspection is independent. We are looking at the photo.
The palace is beautiful, you can see the halls where top officials are negotiating, a library, thematic exhibitions, and a hall with gifts from top officials.
One of the must-see places in Abu Dhabi, especially for designers, architects, builders, furniture makers and everyone else who builds, manufactures, gardens, runs networks, etc. The place is also suitable for tourists with children interested in architecture, there are clean toilets, as everywhere in Abu Dhabi. It is ideal for students of architectural and construction universities and novice specialists. And for everyone else who loves it when it's beautiful. You can take pictures, drink coffee (there is a cafe inside), relax (there are places where you can sit down, although there are not very many of them). In the museum part, all information is given in English and Arabic, as everywhere else, that is, of course there is no Russian, but with the A2 B1 level, you can understand the essence of the description of each exhibit. The interiors are amazing, the yard area is amazing. Life hack! If you don't want to pay extra and enjoy the views 100%, go to the palace at 2 p.m. to film the daytime views and sunset. If you do not leave the territory before the evening, you will be able to stay for the laser show at 19.00 without additional payment. It's amazing! The real beauty, the grandeur of the palace and the mysterious Arabian night. Full immersion in the fairy tale is guaranteed! By the way, the sound there is also very high quality.
I recently visited Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi and was amazed by the beauty and grandeur of this building. This is not just a palace, it is a symbol of national pride and unity. Inside the palace, you can see many beautiful rooms, each of which is decorated in its own style. There is also a large garden with fountains and pools on the territory of the palace. The staff of the palace were very friendly and ready to help with any issue. I would definitely recommend visiting Qasr Al Watan to anyone interested in the architecture and history of the UAE.
The Presidential Palace is just great. I advise you to visit.(entrance fee is 65 dirhams) within walking distance from the hotel. You need to go closer to sunset (the backlight turns on) Very beautiful.
The highest praise. An exquisite place to return to.
We admire the ancient architectural ensembles: in what luxury they were built earlier. They make an impression now no less than during their modern times.
This Mosque, built now and admired, has already become the luxury that descendants will visit and praise through the centuries.
An interesting and very beautiful place in Abu Dhabi, of indescribable beauty and style.
It's as if Russia is allowed to visit the Kremlin inside and see where the president meets foreign delegations.
The idea is great, especially the room with gifts, where they are collected by subject (the Koran, weapons, dishes, souvenirs, etc.).
There is a cafe, a souvenir shop.
A free shuttle runs from the entrance every 5-10 minutes and takes you all the way to the palace.
The guide bought the tickets,

It's a very beautiful place! The territory is large, and the bus carries it.
The organization of movements is very fast, you didn't have to stand in queues for a long time. A palace of incredible beauty! It's definitely worth a visit. There are restrictions on clothing, and women are not allowed to wear open shoulders and shorts. I was wearing trousers and a tight T-shirt - they missed it.
I think it's worth coming to Abu Dhabi at least because of this place. Style: expensive/rich, but without gypsy excess. The atmosphere is very pleasant, I wanted to be there all day. Everything is done with taste and pedantry.
I also liked the evening show, but I liked the sunset more, which was unrealistically beautiful shades.
You can also have a snack there, there is a cafe.
Another must-visit place is the new palace. The entrance costs 70derham, a bus goes from the checkpoint for a minute and takes you directly to the palace, it's spacious and beautiful outside, but inside everything is just gorgeous and bombastic!) I advise you to visit at 17:30-18:00, at 19:30 the laser show at the palace begins.
Parking is paid 35 dirhams. There are two entrances for people, 1 - who have booked and bought tickets online, 2- people who will buy tickets on the spot, there is a bus waiting at the entrance to transport people to the palace. The palace is nice, huge, really a masterpiece. It's worth a look.
The palace is incredibly beautiful. And everything is in order. You go through the security checks and get on buses, they take you to the palace itself. There are no words or photos to describe it. I really liked it.
