Почтамт расположен в центре города Тюмени на улице Республики, 56 на 1 этаже красивого большого здания. Напротив входа в почтамт есть инсталляция в виде симпатичной почтальонки . Площадь помещения невелика, но окна отправки и получения почтовых отправлений, витрины с товаром удобно расположены по кругу. В центре помещения есть круглый стол и стулья, чтобы присесть, подписывая адреса и заполняя информацию в бланках извещений. Есть магазинчик с товарами первой необходимости, продают поздравительные открытки, конверты, карточки с видами Тюмени и области. Есть марки обыкновенные и красивые коллекционные.Персонал спокойный, приветливый, дружелюбный. В помещении чисто, комфортно, всё хорошо видно, есть два больших ящика, в которые можно опустить письма и открытки . Удобный график работы, без обеда.
