Immigration officers are INSANE! Not only they overuse their power just for fun by yelling at people, they’ll personally insult you too. Me and my family with 2 babies (1 and 2 years old), we stood in the line the whole time but didn’t know we had to fill out the arrival forms for the babies (all the adult ones were ready). when our passports were checked they found out we didn’t fill out the forms for the kids and escorted us to the side saying that we can return to the officer as soon as the forms are ready. That’s exactly what we did (people in the line let us go in the front because they heard the conversation about the forms), but the officers have changed and the new one told us to find the old ones who have left. we explained the situation, kids crying, us already standing in the line etc while the lady called a random officer who forcefully let us out of the HUGE line just to say we have to stand there again. I asked why do we need to do that to what he responded just “go” I asked for explanation again and he yelled go to what i replied do not yell at me to what he yelled even louder I don’t care about you. I left but my sister continued talking to him so i came back 2 minutes later saying to her let’s go he said he doesn’t care so let’s just go. That crazy man decided not to stop and continued yelling attracting the attention of the entire line that stretched through the whole floor saying yes i don’t care about you i don’t give a fuck about you i asked him not to talk to me that way already walking away to what he proceeded screaming (i can’t call it anything else) I don’t give a fuck about you. I told him to relax and walked away as soon as i turned around he said “stupid fuck”. no comments. that’s the authority in this country… somebody from the line recorded him and I wish i could attach the picture of that “man” in here but another officer started yelling 10 minutes after this happened pushing people in the line forcefully getting to the guy who was filming forcing to show his camera roll and delete everything. My sister started crying as well as the kids so a different officer came up to us, asked what happened and then apologized and let us use a fast track where we’re 2 officers just scrolling through instagram instead of helping with the overload)) and you know what, they didn’t ask for those forms either. Be a judge of it but the actions like that speak volumes especially when it’s a government authority.

Phuket airport was pleasantly surprised by its organization. From the moment you log in, everything is intuitive: signs in English and Thai, clear zoning — check-in desks, passport control and boarding gates are easy to find. The staff is helpful and ready to help with any questions. Especially pleased: quick registration and inspection procedure; clean and comfortable waiting areas; a good selection of cafes and shops (including duty‑free); free Wi‑Fi with sufficient speed; availability of exchangers and ATMs. The departure and arrival went smoothly, with no delays or confusion. Definitely one of the best airports I've been to!
