The new airport terminal has large and spacious rooms! Cozy and clean. The toilets are modern and clean, unlike the old building. The customs and passport control area is at a high level and very spacious; there is a lot of light and air. The departure lounge on the second floor is beyond praise: there are a lot of seats, comfortable; the toilet is clean, all the equipment in it is modern; the ceilings in the hall are high, the windows are large - there is enough light and air for everyone present! Boarding announcements can be heard perfectly from any part of the hall. It is very pleasant to be in the new terminal! I was very pleased! Only positive emotions!!! The only drawback: in the waiting room on the ground floor there is no screen with the departure schedule (only the arrival schedule), i.e. if you arrived in advance, you can only count on yourself and your watch while in the waiting room (and there are no more seats on the ground floor, not counting the cafe). Bus to the airport from Privoz - route 117. Price - 7 UAH.

The airport has two buildings. Passengers get into the new one upon arrival, they fly out of the old one. Fog happens at night, which is why planes do not land in Odessa and return to the departure airport. The old building has a very simple Duty-free and a small cafe. The feeling is slightly improved due to the friendliness of the staff. Of the entire flight, a couple of passengers from Russia (transit through Minsk) were detained for several hours in October 2019 for formal verification. There is probably a plan for a spot check.

I've been flying there for many years. After the opening of the new terminal, it became much more spacious and comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient as always, the border is passed quickly, communication with border guards is businesslike, polite, without delay. Luggage is delivered fairly quickly, and (as I have seen many times) it is loaded carefully, not thrown. I am very pleased with the internal "schedule" and the device of the port! It is fenced exactly where it is needed, the flows of people are always distributed according to the number of passengers and flights. The toilets are completely clean! With toilet paper and even liquid soap! (which is not always observed even in Sheremetyevo).. There are many waiting areas (which, for example, do not exist in Zhukovsky at all before the sterile zone), the only thing that upsets is that they are metal - it's cool to sit, and it's hard. I also give 4 stars and not 5 because of the terrible take-off! This is not a runway, but (sorry) The washing board! Those who land in Odessa for the first time are quite nervous, because it becomes clear that such shaking is not normal, children are crying .. Otherwise, a very good, small, but cozy airport.
