Ooo... the views are incredible! This is the first place where we started our acquaintance with Braslav. Then I found out from a groupmate and a local resident that they had done the right thing. It is not enough to climb Mount Mayak to see the mirrors of the lakes at 360 degrees, you need to climb the tower (lift = 5 RUB per person). If you go further, there is a camping area with lots of covered gazebos, toilets, boat rentals, etc.

This is a really cool place! We stopped at the tourist station "Mayak" during a hike on the Braslav lakes. We planned our visit in advance and brought a thermos of hot coffee and a snack with us so that we could enjoy the view slowly. And we didn't regret a bit! The atmosphere here is simply wonderful — well-groomed territory, convenient access to the water and stunning views of the lakes. Sitting on the shore with a cup of coffee, watching the water and listening to birds is a real reboot for a city dweller. I liked everything very much: cleanliness, order, it is clear that the place is being taken care of. This is one of those camps where you want to return again with a tent to stay the night. We definitely recommend it to all kayakers and tourists! The best place to make a stop and gain strength.

Great view of the lakes. There is a swing (2 pcs.) large on which you can meditate looking at the view. The ascent of the mountain is equipped with stairs, it is easy to climb. There is a path to the other side of the mountain. There is a lighthouse on the mountain and 2 gazebos that can be climbed for a better view. The ascent to the lighthouse is paid 5 bel.rubles (05/09/26)

A wonderful tourist attraction - the view from the observation tower on the Braslov Lakes is fascinating. A very convenient ascent and descent to the tower itself (cost 5 bel.rub.) and to the top of the mountain. View gazebos at the top are free of charge.Cleanliness, toilets in the parking lot at the foot of the mountain , a convenience store and a cafe nearby. I would like to mention the access road separately - there is a decent surface from Braslov to Mayak Mountain everywhere.

One of the best places to visit for those who come to Braslav, because we come to Braslav to contemplate nature. You can drive up to the foot of the mountain by car, then the stairs to the hill (now it is called Mount Lighthouse, although it had a different historical name in the past). Even a child can climb the stairs. There is a ticket office at the top where a ticket to the tower is purchased. This must be done, because it offers the best circular panorama of the Braslav Lakes system. The views are spectacular. I understand why people are going to ibla. This is Belarusian Karelia with lakes, pine trees and fishing

From the makeshift lighthouse, where everyone climbed through a hole in the grate, since no one was at the ticket office, an unreal view of the lakes opens. We were able to see a black boar! In winter, there is a very cool atmosphere here, as we can take ice packs and even ride! If you don't want to walk the entire path, you can just walk 500 meters forward to the catwalks to the lowlands. A thrill ride!

A cool combination of unimaginable natural beauty with a tourist service. A lot has been done here to make tourists like it (you can watch it without money), but at the same time, the natural beauty has been preserved. I recommend comfortable shoes to walk on many steps and hills.

Hello, friends. I had a chance to see the Lighthouse mountain on Braslav. A neat place, parking, toilets, souvenirs, and of course the Lighthouse itself! Beautiful view of the lakes, it felt like I had touched history, there was a feeling of something huge and powerful. Nature has created a unique corner where you can feel how unique and beautiful it is. Come, you won't regret it! I recommend it!

It's a very cool place! Great view of the lakes and forests around. We were there on Sunday morning (before 9:00), got out of the car and there was just ringing silence! Everything is mowed, clean, and tidy. The entrance ticket to the lighthouse itself is 5 rubles for an adult, the ticket office starts working from 9:00 seven days a week.

Everything is very nice and to the point. You can hang on the rockers at the foot of the observation tower, and for a couple of Belarusian rubles you can climb the metal stairs to the very top, from which you can see the scale of the Braslav lake. Before entering the "mountain" you can shop at local vendors of souvenirs and soputki. Magnets and cute trinkets are great, but of the interesting things there are herbal teas for brewing. It's just a fire. I took it from the heels. Everything has been tried. Great stuff. Yes! Don't forget your passports - this is the border control zone, you will be checked at the entrance under the barrier.

On the downside, a small cafe near the parking lot would be nice.Otherwise, I really liked the views from above and along the paths.Neat, clean. The staff is attentive! The toilets are of the "rustic" type, but there is paper and it is clean enough.Various souvenirs and magnets are sold near the parking lot.I advise everyone to visit. These views reminded me of Lake Baikal.

It was winter. The observation deck with its beautiful, functional spiral staircase was closed. But even with the free viewing platform available, there are beautiful views of the Braslav Lakes. There is an equipped civilized parking lot, eco-installations, swings overlooking the lakes. We liked it. But! It is worth considering that the border is nearby, the local cameraman even showed that we are roaming, the passage to Mount Mayak passes through border control. For non-citizens of Belarus, the presence of passports is mandatory!

A very beautiful view of the lakes, albeit for a fee. The place is in demand among tourists and residents (including us). But the most important thing is the road. After all, there is a checkpoint on the road (from outside Latvia), so you need a passport. As it is, everything is wonderful.

The mountain offers a wonderful view of the lake and the surroundings of Braslav.🤗 The lighthouse itself can be accessed in the summer. September 18 was the last day when it was possible to get to the lighthouse. The entrance fee was 5 Belarusian rubles. We thought that the cash register was no longer working and left the money in the car. It was only after climbing that they found out that the ticket office was located on the mountain itself.

Magnificent view in all directions. Although she is in the border area, tourists are allowed in after strict suggestion. The place itself is very well maintained, when you climb up, you do not fear for your life (unlike in Prague, where a similar structure creaks and staggers from a hard life even in calm weather)

Mayak Mountain is the most famous and one of the best viewing points in the vicinity of the Braslav Lakes. The height of Mayak Mountain relative to the nearby lakes is about 45 meters. There is a special tourist observation deck at the top of this hill (in July 2025, the cost of a visit was 5 rubles, you can rent binoculars), and at the foot of the mountain there is a spacious car park and wooden toilets.

Beautiful views from the Lighthouse! So whatever the WOW of the Lighthouse itself, it didn't happen! It 's not particularly high . But the scenery is very Beautiful! Lakes , fields , etc. , beautiful , there are no words ... On the way to the Lighthouse, there is a border area, there are border guards (passport control) so you need to have passports with you, for children , the main thing is that they should be written in the passport! And so, in general, the trip to Braslav and the surrounding area produced unforgettable emotions!) I recommend it)! Of course, it's better to go in the middle of summer, so that you can swim)) good luck to all!) Oh yes, I forgot)) near the Lighthouse, in the woods, there are a lot of mushrooms))Stock up on packages

Positive: the view is amazing both from the mountain itself and from the observation deck, simply incomparable between 2 lakes! Cons: going up to the observation deck (it will be difficult for people with problem legs, the stairs are too steep) it costs 5 rubles per person. But for what?? They sell all kinds of souvenirs downstairs. There are wooden toilets. I really miss something like a coffee machine. In hot weather, there is no place to buy water, kvass or coffee/tea to cheer up.

I've been here many times. I visit Mount Mayak with great joy every time. From the top of the observation tower, the panoramas are crazy in their beauty. I stick for a long time and look at the water surface of the island, the sky, which stretch for tens of kilometers in all directions.

It was interesting to visit a local landmark, to see with your own eyes from a bird's-eye view the scale of the water surface, almost circular lakes flowing from one to another, there is a kiosk with souvenirs, swings, information boards. Entrance to the tower is paid, but not expensive. On the way to the lighthouse there is some kind of border post, they check the documents.

We were there in early November, climbed to the top, but the lighthouse itself was closed! There had never been a word about it on the Internet before! The foggy weather made it impossible to see all the beauty! It turned out that the lighthouse is only open during the season and closes at the end of October with a lock! Although there were quite a lot of people! Controversial decision🤔 I don't understand why you should keep a person there if you can put up a turnstile with payment and let them in all year round! Anyone who visits must bring their documents with them, as this is a border area! I give 4 out of 5 only for the organization of the process, I recommend the place itself!!!
