They say that our "stars" often come. Maya is one of the cheapest hotels on the coast, and it is mainly designed for pilots and flight attendants to relax between flights (70% of all hotel guests). As soon as we arrived, we were sent to breakfast, then waited for half an hour and were escorted to our room. We got room 1604, a bungalow near the pool. As soon as we entered the room, I was upset, it smelled very much like sewage. We thought the whole vacation was for nothing. The reception was called and the manager offered an alternative. They will relocate only with an additional payment of + $ 20 per day, because now there are no other rooms (( I was very upset at first. But! The next day, the cleaner came, I don't know what exactly she did, but, lo and behold, the smell was gone (that's what a dollar and a Russian chocolate bar do). They will clean up if you leave a tip. We were cleaned well, the bed linen was changed 3 times, the floor was washed 4 times, towels were changed daily, 2 bottles of water were left daily, well, shampoos, gels, of course. The food at the hotel is good (judging by the reviews, someone was starving. I don't know what people eat at home.?..). There is always something to eat. There are a lot of vegetables, salads, several types of saute, 2 types of soup, fruits, sweets, meat mainly chicken (stewed, grilled), side dish - rice, pasta, stewed potatoes and fries, beef, fish, once even pork was grilled. Cheese and sausage are not for us, they have a very specific taste. Bar, snack bar. Ice cream by the pool (from 16.00 to 16.30). You will definitely not stay hungry! We drank wine and beer (alcohol, of course, is so-so). The beer is weak, like kvass. The wine does not have to be one at a time, it was both delicious and not very good. The pool area is always normal. Cocktails are available in the afternoon. The bartenders are trying very hard to please. And in general, all the staff is very friendly and smiling. (As we treat them, so do they treat us). Managers keep order very carefully. Employees are constantly cleaning, cleaning, sweeping, watering something. The hotel is in need of repair, and it is clear that it is being repaired in parts. Apparently, after the leadership changed, the service and maintenance began to slowly improve. The territory is well maintained! The pools are clean. About entertainment. There are enough of them for a relaxing holiday! For children: water slides, during the day the animator Dasha draws with them, in the evening from 8 to 9 there is a disco. For parents, sofas are placed on the lawn during the disco (you can drink cocktails and smoke a hookah). For adults: water polo in the pool during the day (DJ Sam invites everyone to play), in the evening there was live music several times, karaoke once, maybe something else...I can't tell you. You can smoke almost anywhere. You can go to the Land of legends for a fountain show (every day at 22.00, it takes about 25-30 minutes, admission is free, 10 minutes on foot from the hotel), I assure you, both adults and children will like it! For a fee, we went to the hammam and massage (Iya-iya and Mahmed - well done, excellent massage). It takes 5 minutes by bus to the beach (it runs according to the schedule), and 30 minutes at a leisurely, walking pace (while you go and look at the lizards, and listen to the crickets in the pine grove, and look around). It wasn't stressful for us at all! We left for the sea by bus at 17.15, walked from the sea. In general, the hotel is for a budget family holiday. Price - quality match! It all depends on the mood. If you initially go with a sour face, then you will really want to find fault with anything.
