The rooms are spacious and comfortable. With classic furniture, not very fresh, but decent. He lived on both sides, where the Windows overlook the main square of Makhtumkuli - the view is awesome. And also to the courtyard. The view is also cool, the main plus is that there are balconies, you can go out and admire the views. If you get up at dawn, it's better from the courtyard - the sun rises there. Breakfast is a buffet. A very large selection is stable, only some dishes change. The restaurant itself has a small menu - but the service is excellent, tasty and not expensive. There is a great panorama on the 17th floor! You can eat and drink. The staff is polite and attentive. The location of the hotel is great - everything is within walking distance.

It's pathetic! To say that the hotel is tired is to say nothing ... the place probably has a history, a good location, but there is nothing to catch there! It's a disgusting restaurant. Among the advantages: friendly staff from the reception to the maids, a comfortable sleeping place. The location of the hotel is convenient, near the metro, the city center. They asked for the top floor, they gave us 16. The view from the window is beautiful.
The breakfast is average. Fruits, dried fruits, nuts are very tasty. They offer porridge, scrambled eggs, rice, vegetables, cheese, sausages. There are no meat dishes. Instant coffee only.
About the Internet: Wi-Fi at the reception catches well, there are interruptions in the room.
Minuses : the light in the room is very dim, there is no kettle. Many things show many years of operation. Curtains, bedspreads require updating. The table lamps are dusty, the switches, the hair dryer are dirty.
As a result, the price / quality ratio is decent. But you definitely need to make a good light in the room and put a kettle on!

I was in the hotel "Uzbekistan" from 25.12 to 30.12.2022. I liked everything very much. The building is a typical central metropolitan hotel of the Soviet era, but that's a good thing. Spacious halls, public spaces, rooms. She lived in a single superior room. Everything you need in the room is there: bathrobe, slippers, toiletries. There is no kettle in the room, but drinking water was brought every day. Room cleaning and towel change every day. They came to see me every day, but I didn't need cleaning so often. The staff is polite, but all requests were promptly answered. The location of the hotel is more than convenient, the very center and the metro are nearby. If this is your first time in the city, then I recommend this particular hotel. The view from the room was of the city and the mountains.

Two stars just for the fact that this hotel is of architectural interest! But like all hotels of this type, it is absolutely outdated! The old worn carpet, the rooms smell, some rooms and floors are rented out and people smoke in them and everything is carried around the floor, the beds are a separate horror! Just two mattresses on top of each other! The bathroom smells, due to the lack of hydraulic locks in the drainage system (siphons, simply put), the smell is right in the room! In general, to be honest, it's not even very good to spend the night separately…

I took off the star for the non-working air conditioner in the room, it was good that it was not hot. The registration service also failed. A great hotel in the city center. There are two metro stations nearby. I got the most inexpensive room, without chic, but very comfortable, especially the bed and bed linen, I didn't even want to get out of bed. A balcony is a huge plus and a rarity. Yes, something was tired (shower), something was not working (one of the outlets), but these are small things. The staff is as polite and friendly as possible. The breakfasts are just great (there is everything from an omelet to a full set of various fruits). The hotel is very, very decent.

It's very dirty everywhere. The towels were torn, stained, smelled bad, there was no soap, shampoo, toothbrush and other things in the bathroom. The carpets are dirty in the room, in the hair, crumbs, sand, the floor is dirty too, all the furniture is dusty, I was ready to forgive that. But a day before our departure, they decided to paint something with nuclear paint near our rooms! We didn't feel the paint at first, because they painted it early in the morning, and we were sleeping, at 8 my sons felt sick, I didn't understand why from the dawn, and when I sniffed I realized that it smelled wildly of paint and this was the reason for my children's poor health. I think they shouldn't have painted on the floor where someone lives. The reception did not know at all that any repairs were being carried out. After I told them, we were moved to other rooms. And before that, there was no hot water at all from July 1 to 3! I am outraged as much as possible! I hope that the administration and the managing persons will want to contact me!

The hotel is a solid four. The room stock has not been updated for a long time, breakfasts could be more interesting. But everything works, everything is edible and in sufficient quantity. The restaurant on the top floor is frustrating - with such views and locations, you could make a candy bar, but for now it's like a diner - go only when it's day to go outside.

It's just a very bad hotel. Very old unmounted rooms, everything is shabby, battered, gray towels, no shower accessories, only liquid soap. You can stay at any other hotel.
We were advised a hotel because there are good breakfasts, it was not worth it, something is constantly missing, for example, eggs, the choice is not that big. Most of it is occupied by various cuts, eating 10 types of sausage is not very pleasant. But in general, you will not stay hungry. But it is very unpleasant to be there. The staff is polite.

The rooms are cozy with balconies, but judging by our room they already require investments. But what I didn't like was the light in the room. There is no head light, you have to turn on the lights in different corners and it's still not bright. With the light, I would be puzzled in the place of the owners. Breakfast is good. The location of the bomb. The price is normal. There are many other services in the hotel (cafe, restaurant, massage, etc.). Solid 4 on a 5-point scale.

I rarely write reviews with a minus sign, but unfortunately this is the case here! A very old hotel, very "tired" furniture! All rooms require renovation! Furniture generally needs to be replaced! There is an old dirty tile in the bathroom and a toilet bowl that is scary to use! The watering can in the shower directs water in all directions, because it leaks!
The only advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the center!

Of the advantages, only the location, the rest of the impression is rather negative, in May they did not turn on the air conditioner, since it turns out that the summer season has not yet come, although the temperature rose to 30 degrees during the day. The room lighting is very dim, the plumbing is all noisy, you can hear the water draining from the bathtub and sink, there are also creepy sounds in the toilet when filling the tank. Check-in is not earlier than 14 o'clock, even if you arrived at 13 o'clock. I wouldn't come back here anymore.

Immediately for those who want a chic home, maintenance and new repairs - you are definitely not here. For those who come to the room only to sleep - this is your choice! The numbers seemed frozen in time. The remnants of the Soviet past are coming out in little things. However, the main charm is that the hotel does not pretend to be a high level, a pleasant room (yes, there are minor flaws in the type of dust behind the bedside table or under the bed) but towels are changed, the bed is fresh and clean. And the price for accommodation in the city center, with excellent transport accessibility, very much smoothes out the small shortcomings (at least for me) the buffet breakfast is quite nutritious and delicious. Devoid of frills, but gives strength for the rest of the day.

The price-quality ratio was generally disappointing. In the first room offered, the air conditioner did not work/ did not turn off, and it was unrealistically hot and stuffy. The second one was better, but there was an absolute minimum of even shower gel/hair in the bathroom. But the beds and pillows were comfortable, which is a major plus.
Surprisingly, the breakfasts were upsetting. On average, it is very difficult to find a cafe in Uzbekistan where you will be fed insufficiently tasty (or tasteless), but here this assessment is applicable for 70% of dishes. I constantly had to ask to cut / bring a lemon, milk porridge, as a rule, was unrealistically liquid, - well, etc.
In general, the next time we arrive for such a price tag, we will stay in some other places.

We stayed in a suite with a beautiful view of Amir Timur Square. Unfortunately, smoking is allowed in the rooms. The hotel has a currency exchange office with a normal exchange rate.

A Soviet-era hotel, pompous, with appropriate (rather old, but beautiful) furniture. The room is spacious. There were no bathrobes and slippers in the room, and they did not ask because of one night. Our plumbing was messed up, the water in the sink did not drain. Breakfast was "satisfactory", there were a lot of people, and the food was quickly sorted out, and they did not have time to clean up the tables, they had to eat in "stale" conditions. The location is good, in the center. You can change the currency at the hotel. The attitude of the staff is exceptionally friendly, it was comfortable.
