I stopped 2 times. For the first time, we were given a luxury room with a magnificent view. The service is restrained and cultured. Breakfast is on the menu, but you can take something yourself. The second time I rented a room of the same category, but the room was completely different from the last one. At first, I was told that they would help me solve the problem, but then I realized that no one would solve anything. I contacted trip and they resolved the issue, moved me to another room after their intervention. I also didn't like the fact that there were Russian speakers at the reception and they were in no hurry to help so that it would be easier for us to resolve the issue. After the second time, I don't think I want to go back there. But the atmosphere and the design inside are gorgeous!

We visited the cafe in this hotel specifically for the sake of the Sacher cake. We stood in line for about ten minutes and were escorted to the second floor. Well, the decoration of the halls is impressive, the cake is really delicious. I recommend it!

They move into rooms below the category!!! It wasn't our first time in this hotel and we knew which room we wanted. We booked a Junior Suite View room (on the website there is a photo of large square rooms in which we lived on our last visit to Vienna). We arrived at the hotel on 21.12 at 23:00. At first, there was an attempt to put us in a very simple room, probably a deluxe one, after refusing to stay in it, they took us to a better room, BUT not the one we had booked and began to convince us that it was a room of the same category! And that's for 1,500 euros per day, they don't guarantee the room you're booking! The surprises didn't end there! The day before departure, I asked how much the Vienna - Prague transfer costs. I was told 1,350 euros, which is very expensive. I haven't confirmed it. In the morning, when leaving the hotel, it turned out that the girl from the concierge service had included the transfer fee in the bill, and the receptionist canceled it and deleted it from the bill. The next day, the hotel sent a letter that we would pay 50% of the transfer fee for cancellation! I would like to draw your attention to the fact that after we paid off, we went for a walk into the city and returned only 4 hours later to get our things, and no one told us a word about the fine. Isn't that a scam? There are many good alternative hotels in Vienna, not a foot here anymore!

Well, it was necessary to visit. It is one of the historically and culinary defining places in Vienna. We probably looked a little out of place in stretched hoodies and jeans among mirrors, chandeliers, portraits of monarchs and snow-white tablecloths. There was a feeling that many generations of Austrian aristocrats were looking at us with disapproval from portraits in gilded frames.. But! We were greeted as dear guests by the metrodotel, the waiters were smiling, and the conversation was not limited to routine phrases. It was comfortable. Tea with bergamot is steeped. The coffee is delicious. I'm not an expert on Sacher, but I liked it!

There was a cafe there, our guide strongly recommended it. They prepare the famous Sacher cake, like our Prague. Well, inside is old polished wood, mirrors and all the other gadgets. There were a lot of cakes. I didn't mince my words, I took 4 different ones. I was able to eat something, I took something with me. Gluttony made me feel bad. Don't do what I do. But, on the other hand, the eyes just ran away. To be in Vienna and not try it all. In general, it is better to do and regret than not to do and regret. I was still in Vienna, but I kept myself in check. I bought a kilo of apples and ate them for dinner. With cookies.

A wonderful hotel, we were at Christmas - very cozy and beautiful, delicious breakfasts with classical music. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. I recommend it!!!

I didn't live in the hotel, but I was in the cafe of the hotel. The setting is, of course, gorgeous! It's worth stopping by for an original Sacher cake or a Viennese strudel. Wash it all down with coffee called Melange. To look at the tourists walking slowly from the cafe window. But to get there, you have to stand in line.

We had dinner at the hotel. Everything was fine: we were greeted in the lobby, and kindly escorted to the restaurant hall. The waiter was beyond praise, very sympathetic, told us about all the dishes that were served, we ordered a blind Date of 4 dishes. Dinner lasted at least 1.5 hours, everything was insanely delicious. I highly recommend it, you won't regret it.

A good hotel, but because of the brand, the prices are insanely overpriced, the restaurant and cafe are crowded with tourists and a very noisy place, very much. Bristol is no worse, just a few meters away, and prices are 2 times lower.

While vacationing in Vienna, I set out to try a real Sasher cake (as it seems to be translated). The cafe building is located in the building of the Sacher hotel, the price for a piece of cake is 7 euros, in my opinion it is expensive, but knowing that this is the original, I did not give it away. Sacher did not rest at the hotel, but the interior of the cafe was not impressed.
