"Two elements: the vibe of Yerevan and the canvases of Aivazovsky" I would like to express my deep gratitude to our guide Lucine for the tour that took place on August 20, 2026. It was the perfect mix of a walk and an immersion in art. First, we walked through the center of Yerevan, from the Cascade to Republic Square, and Lusine showed us not only the "postcard" views of the city, but also told us about the outstanding people who have done a lot for the prosperity of Armenia. We looked into the colorful courtyard and heard stories about literature, art and architecture. But the most interesting thing started at the National Gallery. It was a revelation for us to learn that the famous marine artist Aivazovsky is of Armenian origin. In the gallery, we saw his paintings and enjoyed the unsurpassed rendering of light and water on canvas. Time flew by unnoticed. Thank you so much for the individual approach (the guide took into account our fatigue and paused for coffee). I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to understand the soul of Yerevan!
