Fabrika in Tbilisi was the first place I went as soon as I arrived in Georgia. Not to take a shower, not to sleep, not to rest after a night without sleep, but there. Because if a creative person arrives in Tbilisi and has already heard a lot about the main creative space of the city, then, of course, the first thing they do is absorb the essence of the creative life of the capital of Georgia. And Fabrika really makes an impression already on the way. It's not a place where all the magic starts just inside. No, you're still walking along a narrow street in old Tbilisi, and there are already fully painted buildings, graffiti, walls, textures, visual noise, and street art all around. And at some point, it feels like you're not just walking into a building, but into an entire street of street art. The factory building itself is huge, tall, industrial, with a very beautiful antique panel on the facade. And this contrast is especially strong: the architecture of the old Soviet factory, the scale, the history, the industrial might — and on top of that, modern artistic audacity, graffiti, color, signs, street energy. It was as if the past had not been erased, but given him a new skin. Fabrika is a former garment factory that has been transformed into a creative cluster. And this is very noticeable: the space is not trying to be a "neat shopping mall for creative people." It lives exactly like a new type of factory — only now it produces not clothes, but meanings, events, acquaintances, ideas, visual culture, urban vibe. There is a very interesting structure inside: a large courtyard, surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, studios, various eating places, event spaces. There is a hostel, there is a coworking space — I have not been there, but the very fact of his presence is very logical. This place seems to have been created for people who can come, live, eat, work, get to know each other, indulge, sit in the yard, go to a party, buy something from local designers and go back to their laptop or notebook. I really liked that Fabrika doesn't look like a sterile "franchise-style creative space." It has roughness, energy, sometimes chaos, sometimes very precise visual focus. This place is not about perfect polishing, but about the living urban fabric. About graffiti, concrete, old walls, industrial windows, people with different languages, coffee, food, music, courtyard, evening light and the feeling that something is happening here all the time. I didn't stay there long, because I was already in the state of a person who hadn't slept all night, flew to a new country, and ran out of pure enthusiasm to get to know the city. But even in a short time it became clear: Fabrika is really one of the heartfelt places of modern Tbilisi. There's a creative, unusual vibe just a mile away. Such artistic audacity, a bit of the underground, a bit of Berlin, a bit of old Tbilisi, a bit of post-Soviet industrial memory, and a lot of vibrant urban energy. For me, Fabrika is not just a place where you can drink coffee or eat. This is the entry point to modern Tbilisi. In that Tbilisi, where old buildings are not demolished for the sake of faceless novelty, but are reassembled into new scenarios of life. Where the factory becomes a space for artists, travelers, entrepreneurs, designers, musicians, remote workers and just people who are interested in being inside a living environment. I really love such places for their ability to show the city not through a postcard, but through its nerve. Fabrika is exactly the nerve. Graffiti, courtyard, factory walls, people, food, coworking, music, street art and the feeling that creativity here is not a decoration, but a way of existence. Tbilisi is just the perfect place to explore creative art for the first time.

You can work, you can have a snack, you can drink coffee, you can sit in practice (as a psychologist, I found my own separate vibe in this place). We had a double room, with a bunk bed, each with a lamp and sockets. There is also a table and two chairs in the room. Bathroom with shower. There is everything you need, toothbrushes. pasta. shampoo, shower gel. Fabriki's interior is beyond words, it must be seen. There is nothing fancy. Old things, sofas, armchairs. Plaster is chipped in places. A separate song is the patio. which turns into a youth pilgrimage in the evening. Sale of drinks. light music. Great memories.

An interesting space, a former factory of something (it looks like a spinning mill). They do not speak Russian at the reception, but you can explain yourself knowing English. High ceilings, we got a double room, bunk beds. Each place has a lamp and two sockets. There is a table, a small bench, hooks for outerwear. Welcome bottle of water (for each guest). And the joy is the shower and toilet in the room (although it is a hostel). The mattress is comfortable, the linen is clean. The room is frankly cool, but I will not clean the star (there are no batteries). On the ground floor there is a huge space for communication: soft sofas, there is a bar. The courtyard is very picturesque. The hostel is located not far from the city center, 2 km from old Tbilisi.

Awesome hostel! A youth hangout center, free Wi-Fi, clean rooms and beds. In the morning, the buffet is about 450 rubles /person. Excellent staff.
