I recently visited the Eco Village Kaskasu — this place is really impressive! An excellent recreation center for those who want to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature. The territory is very well maintained, clean air, silence and an incredible atmosphere of comfort. I was especially struck by the fact that deer freely walk around the territory — this adds a special charm to the place and a sense of true harmony with nature. The houses are comfortable, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. Here you can really reboot and relax your soul. Miraculously, one day the water supply to the cottage ended, as there was no water in the common barrel, and when they resumed, at the request of the guests, they did not see hot water that day.

The staff is kind and friendly, BUT I agree that they lack training in terms of general work, and so the place is good. Cons - 1. The kitchen is 3+ and the bartender does not know how to serve tequila or maybe they do not have lime or sangritta, a Margarita bird without spinach and with thick tomatoes, the noodle soup was not very pleasant with some kind of smell. 2. At the prices of Kazakhstan, it is not cheap here. At Russian prices, there will be an average check here. (We ordered pizza + 0.5 beer + two noodle soup + French fries + tea + more tea + fried wings and 4 stacks of 50 grams of tequila for a total of 23,000 tenge or at the current exchange rate of rubles (7.4) 3,100 rubles. 3. The reception does not take the phone at night and other rooms are not answered either.

Great territory, good rooms, but at the time when we were there, I can't even imagine how to live there in the summer without air conditioning and mosquito nets! Good, not cheap, but good, cuisine, friendly service - thanks to the guys at the bar by the upper pool and the waiter Dinara in the restaurant. Nice clean upper pool (heated!)! On the way, the only disadvantage is that they make a road directly to Kaskasa, but it is necessary. Children and adults were satisfied and that's the main thing!

It seems that the owners of Kaskasu Ecovillage do not rest in this recreation area themselves. Absolutely disgusting rooms, old furniture, sagging sofas (rolled down all night). We lived in a junior suite (prestige, in my opinion). The shower stall flowed on the first day. Regarding the food, it doesn't taste good. Burnt hard khachapuri, disgusting cocktails (if it's a milk cocktail on sour cream). There was no ketchup/mustard for breakfast with sausages and potato slices. For dinner, veal medallions were served with liver sauce, why is not clear. The evening program, for which we paid 40,000 tenge, was clearly not designed for art lovers at all. The lead singer of the 2+1 group was off-key in all the songs, shouting. The girls (backup dancers) came out in feather dresses and it felt like they were cold, shaking out of sync, not in tune with the music. When they went out into the street, the first people they met were dressed in feathers and put on display, no choreography. The concert is a disgrace, or the organizers thought that the audience would be completely collective farmers. We are very unhappy with the rest. I hope the organizers will take this review into account and eliminate the disadvantages. Of the good ones, the waiter Galia was the only one smiling in the evening and served us perfectly at the table.

But we won't go there anymore. With their very expensive prices, the service is simply disgusting. The reception is generally unclear why it exists there. Requests need to be repeated several times. The maids are on the premises like zombies. They barely walk. When asked to treat the shower room due to an unpleasant smell, they looked, listened and left. In room #5 (standard rooms), the carpet has a musty, rotten smell. It was extremely unpleasant to sleep in such a room. The buffet breakfasts were only on weekends and everything was very tasty and a good choice. On weekdays, porridge and eggs every day, plus yogurt, nuts, dried fruits, are also not bad. In general, the prices of the restaurant are too high, if you also take into account that there is nowhere else to eat. The big drawback is coffee. Sometimes there were no coffee beans, then all the bartenders were busy, then at breakfast the bartenders had not yet started work. You can just put an automatic coffee machine. People can make any coffee for themselves at any time, pay and not guard the bartenders. It is forbidden to bring food to the territory of the base. Ah! that's what the girls at the reception are most likely for?!? To ask a hundred times if you have brought any groceries? At the same time, jeeps enter the territory of the base (which is prohibited) and unload food and alcoholic beverages in crates. There are photos, but the license plates are visible, so I will not post them. At the same time, I would like to note (I do not know the position of the person), let's call him a senior manager, his name is Ruslan. A man who is everywhere, one has only to think that his help is needed. It is clear that he gives his best at work! I also enjoyed riding ATVs. I advise everyone. Dmitry is a good mentor, he also accompanies on the trip. He showed the most beautiful places. Well, the last straw is the transfer. There were 7 of us and in order not to order 2 taxis, we decided to take a transfer from ECO village. The cost is 20,000 tenge. We waited 40 minutes from the appointed time. No one offered to stay in the rooms for now. We sat on our suitcases and waited. One more moment . It is not possible to call and invite to accept the numbers. I called from three numbers. Uselessly. So, the driver arrived and began to ask in a raised tone where he would put our suitcases and bags. Of course, there are 7 of us and, accordingly, there are a lot of things, and even considering that we arrived from another city. Really, after paying 20,000 tenge, we have to report for our belongings to the driver. I'm sorry, but such a vacation is no longer needed.

There were two times. For the first time in September, everything was more or less normal. The nature is amazing. We ate a lot of deer, took a walk. The pool was working. One of the disadvantages is the restaurant. The cost does not match the taste and quality of the dishes at all. But there was no choice. The second time was in the middle of January. And this trip completely disappointed us. We booked a room for one night from VSK on Monday. According to the rules, check-in was at 16.00 and check-out at the same time the next day. Monday was our day off, so we planned to relax completely, breathe in fresh air, walk, do nothing. But our plans were ruined. After breakfast, the receptionist called the room and asked when we planned to leave. I was surprised, because they had all the information, so I replied that according to the rules and as indicated in the coupon that the manager sent. Half an hour later, the receptionist knocked on our door. It turned out that Mondays are a day off at the base and it closes at 10 a.m. And no one warned us about this. We were asked to vacate the room and leave, as the transfer had already arrived for the staff. To say that I was amazed is to say nothing. We did not swear, argue, spoil the mood or spoil the employees' day off.I asked the base administrator for compensation, because it was only 11 a.m. and we still had a car left before departure. The receptionist said he would clarify what they could offer us, wrote down my number and we left. No one called me back and I wrote to the manager who booked the room. The answer made me laugh to tears. We were apologized and as compensation we were offered a 50% discount on the Russian bath. That is, for our ruined day off, the money spent on a service that we did not receive in full, they bought us off with a discount, for which we need to come to the base again and leave our money there. That's what I understand, the level of cunning. I'm sure if we had been delayed for a few hours, we would have been charged for late check-out. But the early departure was not our fault and, of course, no one planned to compensate us for our allotted hours. If the management valued its customers and wanted to keep them, then at least a discount on accommodation would be offered. Summing up the results. If you do decide to come here, just in case, check about the day off at the base. Also, do not expect that in case of some unusual situation, the management will solve the problem in your favor. The main goal is to get money from you, and the quality of the services provided is no longer important))
