The hotel is excellent, spacious rooms with stunning views (we paid extra for a view of the bay), good breakfasts for fans of Chinese cuisine, proximity to the sea, the park, and the shopping center. The room was 1208, there were no problems with sockets, tea/coffee set, water was replenished daily as well as shampoo sets, there are toothbrushes, comb, slippers for the room, slippers for the beach, snow-white bathrobes, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe. Upon check-in, they give you a plate of fruit, and bring a cake to your room on your birthday. One of the disadvantages is the toilet / shower in the room, strange structures with glass doors, inconvenient. There are no shelves in the closet to put things out. Deposit upon check-in, which is refunded after checking the room when you leave. The most profitable currency exchange is to buy yuan in Russia for rubles. Guides change 1 yuan = 13 rubles. 1 dollar = 7 yuan, 1 euro= 8 yuan. We only took breakfast and didn't regret it. There are many places around where you can eat to suit all tastes and budgets. You can buy a seafood buffet dinner at the hotel, 140 yuan per person. But we paid 150-200 in a cafe for two people with drinks, ate too much, and took it with us) so we never left the restaurants for dinner at the hotel. I can recommend Dadonghai Cafe and Panda cafe. We went to Lina's cafe a couple of times, it was cheap, but the landing was uncomfortable, there was an eternal queue and not everything was delicious. We've been to the Freegen bar a couple of times on the waterfront, the atmosphere is very good, the cocktails and food are super delicious. The perfect start to a vacation: even the overnight check-in went like clockwork We had a vacation in Hainan in September 2025 together and never regretted choosing the Dadonghai Hotel. To begin with, we arrived on a night flight — thank you so much for the opportunity to check in early! It saved us nerves and a day of rest. They were met quickly, settled without delay. Room: spacious, bright, fully corresponds to the photo. I am also happy about household details: daily cleaning, a full set of bathroom accessories (shampoos, gels, toothbrushes — I didn't need to buy anything else). I was pleasantly surprised by the mini-bar — it is replenished every day, very convenient. A beach bag and slippers included is a small thing, but it's nice. Bathrobes are also available. Meals: varied breakfasts. Really for every taste: from classic porridge and omelette to local exotic dishes and fruits. You won't stay hungry for sure. The sea is 100 meters from the hotel, there are a lot of different cafes and fruit stalls nearby. To everyone who reads: take this hotel if you value comfort and don't want to think about everyday life. Let's come back here again!

We are currently vacationing at this hotel, we really like it, be sure to take rooms with a view of the sea or towards the pool. The hotel is located 2 minutes from the sea in the very epicenter of the movement and parties. Opposite is a small park, very picturesque and lively. It's a very beautiful promenade with lots of cool places to relax and drink cocktails. There is a cool amusement park for kids. This hotel is very conveniently located, as there are many cafes and shops around it. Nearby you can buy fruits, awesome smoothies are made for 15-20 yuan, a lot of inexpensive massage parlors. The only caveat is that you can't swim everywhere, but only in designated areas, as there is a very strong reverse current here, and the beach is often closed for swimming. But this is not a disadvantage for us, as we travel every day to different nearby bays, which are very cool. There are also advantages that the hotel's swimming pool is open until 23:00. In general, I recommend this hotel.
