It feels like we ran into each other in the 90s, everything is simple, without any amenities or service. There are several windows where bus tickets are sold, it is not clear on what principle to choose the window, the drivers helped and showed where to turn. From Batumi to Yatbilisi, instead of 5 o'clock, the bus went 7 at night, stopped very often: to smoke, to go to the toilet, or something else. But in general, it is possible to get to the right point, safer than by minibus. The buses are big and comfortable

The station itself is new, and it's immediately obvious. Neat building, modern ticket offices, nice view. Nice to come by. But it's worth spending an hour and a half here before the flight, and you realize: the outside is new, but inside everything is as before. No one announces anything. Not on speakerphone, not by voice. The board shows only the bus number, time and direction. That's it. There was no platform, no information about the start of boarding, no delay. You're standing with your suitcase and you're figuring out where your bus is. It's strange for a new train station. The landing is out of place. I bought a ticket with a seat, but that doesn't mean anything. You come in and sit where you can. There is no stampede, I must say, everything is calm. But the logic itself is unclear: why then a place on the ticket? The schedule is a conditional concept. The bus leaves about 20 minutes later, which is still half the trouble. The main thing is that he arrives almost an hour later than announced. And no one was warned. You plan your next business, and time goes by with the bus. The quality of the buses does not match what was promised. The photo is a candy: clean, well—groomed, comfortable. In reality— tired cars, dirty interiors, worn seats. One thing is promised, another is coming. And separately. The toilet is paid for. At the new train station. A small thing, but significant. What's a plus? Convenient location — the center, close to the old town. There are ticket offices, routes to Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Trabzon. The prices are normal. The building itself is new and pretty. Bottom line: Arrive in advance, check with the drivers personally, do not count on the schedule, prepare small change for the toilet and do not expect the bus to be like in the picture. The train station is new. The habits are old.

I was sitting waiting for the bus. There is an Internet connection. It's cool, you can have coffee. The toilet is paid for 1lari.
