My son is studying, the teachers are strict and very intelligent. They provide a top-level knowledge base. You can't just pass a session without knowledge. That's the first thing. And secondly, the university is no worse than the capital's universities, if not better. I graduated from BSUIR myself, I have an understanding and I can compare. Everything is clearly structured, students put everything on the shelves. I am very pleased with the university. I would have gone there myself to study at one time, if I had known.

The hostel is clean and warm. The staff is kind and helpful. The NKVD was once located in the university building. I studied at BRU more than 17 years ago. I remember that time with warmth, as any person remembers his student years. He received a good general technical education. But, guys, even then everything was outdated. I don't think it's better now. In general, I do not understand why to enroll in provincial universities - only Minsk or abroad. And I also went to building 1 just now and seemed to be transported back to my student years. Nothing has changed there! Absolutely nothing! The same corridors, painted in the same color. The same classrooms with the same desks, on which inscriptions from 20 years ago are scrawled. The same toilet cisterns. A new building was built, but not for students, as I understand it.

I am Russian, born and raised in Siberia. I came to Belarus 6 years ago. He immediately enrolled in the Belarusian-Russian University, without any fraud and tricks, on a budget. If we take into account that I am now 50 years old, then it becomes clear that it is worth some effort to enroll in the budget at the BRU. Well, now, about BRU himself, the teachers are wonderful people. And if you also know that they do not take bribes, do not extort anything from students, but teach everyone honestly, with some kind of paternal love, then you can say that the time of my studies at the BRU reminded me of my studies in the USSR. A good way to keep your offspring busy with some (practically useless) activity in order to "not drink, smoke or inject." A kind of way to artificially prolong the time of "carefree youth". Given the teaching staff, which is hopelessly behind the times and progress, your child is unlikely to receive any significant knowledge in terms of their practical application and subsequent monetization. A pleasant exception is made only by individual employees who are trying to modernize the teaching process and strive to provide practically meaningful knowledge. But in the general mass, this contribution is not noticeable. In my personal opinion, it is simply useless to study there now. It's a waste of time (and money if the training is paid).
