Soviet past is usually ignored in Uzbekistan today. However, this is one of the best WW2 museums in the post-Soviet space; and, in my opinion, the best museum in Tashkent. It is not in a central location, hence, many people, even locals, don't know about this museum. Another sign of how the Soviet past us marginalised in the country. But if you take a taxi and visit this place, you won't regret it.

Fantastic museum + park with plenty of exhibitions, lifesize dioramas etc. Friendly knowledgable staff. Very happy to see this museum in Uzbekistan, may the role of the Uzbek people and the USSR in WW2 never be forgotten!

It's a place that models planes, tanks and millitary equipments of Second World war (||), and the historical museam, sculptures of uzbek and russian national heros such as Sobir Rakhimov etc. Furthermore, when you enter it, you can feel victory of 2nd world war against to fascist Germany empire and see Uzbek women sculture that were waiting their sons to come back to desh. Thank you very much...

Surprisingly nice and clean park with a lot of interesting stuff to check out. Museum is very informative. The only downside is that museum is located far from center. Hailing a cab to museum is easy but the return leg will require a lot of waiting and patience to grab a cab.

The museum and exhibitions touch to the depths of the soul. I recommend Everyone to visit it. And especially for those who have children. History must be remembered, and those who gave their lives for our peaceful future. Entrance ticket prices are symbolic.

It's a good museum. Everything is bright and colorful, just like in real life. It's worth going in once, watching it all live, and seeing it with your own eyes. I'll leave some photos below, you can take a look)

An amazing exposition, the diorama is simply breathtaking with its detail and well-developed details! There is a feeling that you are in the place of all the events! Lots of interesting and informative exhibits and materials! It is very gratifying that the Republic of Uzbekistan also remembers, honors and cherishes in the hearts of people the common feat of our Soviet people!

It's a fairly small museum that opened a few years ago. Despite the name, it is more about the participation of Uzbek residents in the war than the victory itself. Multimedia is designed on a level, there are not too many exhibits and they are placed en masse. However, an important topic has been touched upon, for which people bow. PS. entrance to the park at the museum is also paid, tickets are sold at the kiosk near the fence.

When I was there for the first time, I was very impressed When I saw the photos there, every sculpture, I felt how hard it was, these people went through so many difficulties... The next time I brought the children to let them know about WWII, they were amazed... I wish every resident had been to this park and knew the story, I recommend

We visited the museum on March 29, 2026 at about lunchtime between 12.00-14.00. Unfortunately, the impression of visiting the museum was seriously spoiled by the behavior of Zuhra's employee, who is at the very beginning of the exhibition. My adult son (over 25 years old) spent a little longer looking at an interactive screen with musical accompaniment. Instead of being polite, the employee approached her son and immediately said in a raised voice: "don't go where you don't know!". When I came over to clarify the situation, she repeated this phrase, continued to talk sharply, pointing her finger in her face, came too close, violating her personal space and behaved very aggressively and rudely. This whole unpleasant scene took place in front of other visitors, which put us in an extremely unpleasant position and completely ruined the mood of the visit. To my remark about uncorrected behavior and the need to apologize to my son, she refused and continued to behave impudently, boorishly and rudely. After that, we turned to Gulchehr's boss, opa, who turned out to be a very conscientious and decent employee. She personally apologized for the incident and invited Zuhra's employee to the proceedings. However, even in the presence of the supervisor, the employee continued to deny the obvious facts and give unreliable explanations of the situation, instead of simply acknowledging the incorrect tone of communication with visitors. The apologies, in fact, were made only after the intervention of the supervisor, which also indicates the low communication culture of this employee. It is a pity that in such an interesting museum the impression is spoiled due to the unprofessional behavior of individual employees, in particular Zukhra. I hope the administration will pay attention to this employee, Zuhra, so that this does not happen again.

The territory of Victory Park is accessible only from the main entrance, although there are three more entrances. But they are closed. Only on May 9th, admission is free and access is from three gates. As an elderly man, I want to take a walk in the park with my wife and grandson every day, sit on a bench, and get some air. But, alas, I can't. I live next door, but on the opposite side from the main entrance. I believe that all gates should be open and admission is free.

A great museum. Everything is located logically, there are pointers everywhere. We did not skimp on mannequins - there are a lot of them and this adds interest to the exposition. There are a lot of videos from archives and various multimedia. The hall with Berlin is a separate large exhibition that can be viewed for hours! A very strong impression! The second floor tells more about the modern military power of Uzbekistan. Clean, beautiful, light....

"The garden of victory", when entering this park especially the museum, makes it seem that man fell into the era of the war at that time. The events of that time were battle sagas, manuments as if Real. Pictures of food being sent to war, soldiers, parents, sisters who bless and make them abode. And in the garden there were tanks, samalyots, acops, battle Saxons, as if Real.

I honor the memory of the dead who fought for our current bright lives, and I tell my grandchildren about them so that they can have an idea. They built such a beautiful Victory Park, on such a large territory, that's all good, BUT they took away our park for children, they took away such a large territory where young mothers with strollers walked, and old people walked, they did physical education in the morning, and they blocked it with thick bars, they made the entrance paid, I go out with three children for a walk in the morning and in the evening, I have to pay for 4 people, the eldest daughter, if she comes, then she goes out with us, the youngest will come, and she will also come with us, how much per day should I pay just to walk with my grandchildren??? There are cars everywhere, there's nowhere to sit with the kids, please tell me where we can walk alive??? The new Victory Park is always empty, although make the entrance free and please put benches. And it's a long way to River Park, we have to walk 1 kilometer, cross dangerous roads with kids, it's better not to take risks. But Katagonlar Maidoni is always open to the people, why is Victory Park closed?

I liked the park myself, interesting locations, different types of tanks, guns and airplanes. There are also akopes, monuments and other different types of military paraphernalia. The park itself looks fresh, large open areas (it will be hot in summer), Soviet music is playing everywhere, plus in places the sounds of shooting create wildlife for military decorative objects. It's worth going and seeing at least once. Relationships. A friend came from Russia (CIS), the price should have been 20t for the park, but they demanded 30t sums from a foreigner. The difference with the museum is 30 (CIS), 50 (foreign) Although, he was born here and he should have been allowed into the park for 4t. By the way, the price difference, as for me, is not commensurate. Minus for the staff and prices.
