Terms of Use of Yandex Webmaster
1. General Terms
Yandex LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Yandex") offers the User the opportunity to use the Yandex Webmaster service available at: http://webmaster.yandex.com. This is subject to the following Terms.
1.1. Terms and Definitions:
Resource Information refers to any information pertaining to the Resource that is available via the Service, including information regarding the Resource’s indexing by the Yandex search robot and associated indicators of its display in the search results of Yandex Search;
Yandex Search Engine (Yandex Search) refers to a service for searching information on the Internet provided by Yandex using Yandex’s computer programs, databases, technical means, and equipment;
User (Webmaster) refers to the owner or administrator of the Resource who uses the Service;
Governing Documents refer to documents specified in cl. 1.2 of these Terms;
Resource refers to websites on the Internet (including those for mobile devices), which are owned by the User or to which the User has access on any other legal grounds, to the extent necessary to use the Service;
Service refers to the Yandex Webmaster service, which is available online at: http://webmaster.yandex.com. This service enables users to receive information about the indexing of websites by Yandex Search Engine and provides tools for analyzing the indexing and technical condition of websites;
Yandex Services refer to services provided to the User by Yandex or its affiliates in accordance with the terms and conditions of the relevant documents, which can be found at: https://yandex.com/legal or within the interface of the relevant service;
Terms refer to these terms of use of the Service, which are available at: https://yandex.com/legal/webmaster_termsofuse;
Feed refers to any information, content, or data in any format that Webmaster transmits to Yandex with the objective of enhancing the presentation of the Resource or information in Yandex Search and Yandex Services in a format that meets the necessary technical requirements;
Yandex states for Yandex LLC (address: 16 Lva Tolstogo Street, Moscow, 119021 Russia);
Yandex ID refers to an account of the User of Yandex Services created in the Yandex ID service in accordance with the terms available at: https://yandex.com/legal/id_termsofuse.
1.2. The use of the Service is governed by these Terms and the following Governing Documents:

- Privacy Policy (https://yandex.com/legal/confidential).
1.3. By starting to use the Service, the User undertakes to review the Terms and Governing Documents and assumes the risk of failure to do so.
By starting to use the Service or its functions, the User is deemed to have accepted these Terms and the terms of the Governing Documents in their entirety, without reservation or exception.
If the User does not agree with any of the provisions set forth in these documents, the User may not use the Service. The User is deemed to have accepted these Terms and the terms of the Governing Documents in their entirety, without reservation or exception. If the User does not agree with any provisions of these documents, the User may not use the Service.
1.4. These Terms and the above documents are subject to change without special notification. New versions of the Terms and the Governing Documents shall become effective upon posting online at the URLs listed in cl. 1.1 and 1.2 of these Terms, unless otherwise provided in the new versions of the Terms and the Governing Documents. Use of the Service after the amendment of the Terms or Governing Documents shall be deemed acceptance of the new versions.
If Yandex introduces amendments to these Terms or Governing Documents that the User disagrees with, the User shall be required to terminate their use of the Service.
1.5. By using the Service, the User consents to receive informational messages.
2. Use of the Service. Certain Functions of the Service
2.1. To gain access to the Service, the User should first log in with their Yandex ID and confirm their rights to the Resource in one of the ways specified at: https://yandex.com/support/webmaster/service/rights.html.
The User is responsible for determining the scope of individuals authorized to access their personal account in the Service, inter alia, to manage the Resource Information on their behalf, by providing account data to authorized individuals. Any and all actions performed within the Service via the User’s account shall be deemed to have been performed by the User. The User is fully responsible for the safety and confidentiality of the account data and for any actions performed using the User’s account.
2.2. The Service provides the User with the opportunity to access their personal account and view information about how the User’s Resource is displayed in Yandex Search results, make visual adjustments to this display, identify technical issues related to the indexing process and display in Yandex Search, obtain recommendations for optimizing the display of the Resource, and use other available functions.
The functionality of the Service may vary depending on the User’s region.
2.3. The User acknowledges that Yandex cannot guarantee the reliability, accuracy, completeness, and quality of the Resource Information and is not responsible for information posted on the Service under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the User to assess all risks associated with the use of the Resource Information, including reliability, completeness, usefulness, and compliance with applicable legislation.
2.4. The User may have access to the Service to manage the bypassing of certain pages of the Resource by the Yandex search robot, provided that a Yandex Metrica tag is installed for such pages in accordance with the Terms of Use for Yandex.Metrica and AppMetrica (https://yandex.com/legal/metrica_termsofuse). To do so, the User shall link their personal account within the Service with the corresponding Yandex Metrica tag in accordance with the instructions specified at: https://yandex.com/support/webmaster/indexing-options/link-metrica.html.
3. Intellectual Property
3.1. Yandex retains all rights to the Service, all materials included in the Service, as well as the design of the Service as a whole and its individual elements, as well as the rights to the software of the Service. By initiating use of the Service, the User certifies that they do not and will not attempt to circumvent the technical safeguards in place to prevent unauthorized access to the aforementioned objects. Any copying, reproduction, processing, dissemination, publication, bypassing security features, or other use of them beyond the functions provided by the Service shall be prohibited.
These Terms do not confer any rights upon the User to use the Service or Resource Information for purposes other than those set forth in these Terms.
4. Limitation of Liability
4.1. The Service is provided ‘as is’. Yandex does not guarantee that the Service will meet the User’s specific goals and expectations, or that it, or its certain functions, will operate without interruption or errors. In particular, Yandex reserves the right to modify the functionality of the Service at any time, either in whole or in part.
4.2. Yandex shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect consequences of any use or inability to use the Service, any damage caused to the User or third parties as a result of use, non-use, or inability to use the Service or its certain functions, including due to possible errors or failures in the operation of the Service.
4.3. The User acknowledges and understands that the formation of the results displayed in Yandex Search Engine are generated automatically based on the Yandex search base and information provided in the form of Feeds. Search results may not display links to Resources or pages that are not in the Yandex search base indexed by Yandex search engine on the basis of sources that are open and available online.
4.4. The User acknowledges and understands that the ranking of Resources in the Search Engine’s results is performed by automatic algorithms based on the ranking formula which takes into account factors such as relevance, usefulness, and degree of compliance with a particular search query. To improve the quality of search results, Yandex regularly updates the ranking formula.
No Resources or services may gain advantage over other resources, services, or sources of information available via Yandex Search Engine.
4.5. Yandex cannot guarantee that the User’s Resource will be displayed in a specific position in Yandex Search, nor can it guarantee that the User’s Resource will retain its position in the Search.
Yandex does not manipulate the positions of Resources in Yandex Search for any queries (keywords). Furthermore, Yandex does not guarantee that the position of a particular Resource in the search engine for a specific query will remain unchanged.
4.6. Yandex algorithms may detect signs of violations in relation to the Resource. A list of these violations is publicly available at: https://yandex.com/support/webmaster/threats.html. The User may review the information regarding any restrictions applied to the Resource in the account of the Service in the Security and Violations section at: https://webmaster.yandex.com/site/diagnosis/threats.
In order to prevent the misuse of the information received or discriminatory practices against other Resources or Users, Yandex may not disclose additional details of algorithm triggers related to a specific Resource beyond those outlined in the account of the Service.
4.7. Yandex is not liable for the quality and content of User Resources. Indexing of Resources in Yandex Search does not imply preliminary or subsequent evaluation of the content of the Resources’ pages (moderation) for compliance with legislation, ethics, morals, or other censorship.

5.1. The processing of Users personal information by Yandex and its affiliates for the purpose of providing the User with the functionality of the Service in accordance with these Terms and the provisions of the Privacy Policy available at: https://yandex.com/legal/confidential.
5.2. Yandex may make any changes to the structure and algorithms of the Service and its functions, suspend the operation of the Service or its functions, change or terminate the execution of functions of the Service, and do so without prior notice to the User and without the User’s consent.
5.3. These Terms and the relations between Yandex and the User arising in connection with the use of the Service shall be governed by the applicable law.
5.4. All inquiries and claims pertaining to the use or inability to use the Service, as well as potential violations of applicable laws or third-party rights by the Service User, shall be directed via the feedback form at: https://yandex.com/support/webmaster/troubleshooting.html.
