Yandex Serverless Containers - Terms of Use

This document constitutes the Terms of Use of Yandex Serverless Containers (the "Service") and is an integral part of the Yandex.Cloud Customer Agreement and the Service Level Agreement available online at: https://yandex.ru/legal/cloud_specialterms. Capitalized terms used herein but not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in Agreement and Linked Documents.

1. Functional Features of the Service

1.1. The Service allows Customer to manage Container in a fully serviceable environment of the Service with allocation of required computing capacity, whereas Customer is not involved in management of the respective computing capacity, for the purposes of processing Customer’s information and Content, and using other features of the Service.

A full description of the functional features of the Service is contained in the Instructions for using the Service posted on the Site.

1.2. As part of the Service, the following options are provided to Customer:

1.2.1. to create, modify and delete Containers;

1.2.2. to create new Container Revisions;

1.2.3. to launch Container for processing information and Content;

1.2.4. to monitor quantitative indicators of Containers and access execution logs of Containers;

1.2.5. to create and manage Triggers (as defined below); and

1.2.6. to use other functional features of the Service, which Yandex makes available to Customer. The list of functional features is available to Customer on the Site and/or in the Management Console.

1.3. Service Level for the Service is determined in SLA.

2. Pricing

2.1. The use of the Service is chargeable.

2.2. Service Fee is determined as per Service Rates and billing units specified on Site. Yandex may change Service Rates as stipulated by Agreement.

2.3. Service Fee for the Service depends on the number of Containers, requests to each Container and the reserved amount of operational memory and resources, which are used during execution of this request.

Duration of execution of request is calculated for the time of performance of request by Container and until termination of its performance.

2.4. As part of the Service the volume of Outgoing Traffic passing through Container and other additional benefits requested and used by Customer and related to the use of the Service are charged separately.

2.5. Yandex may from time to time provide Customer with additional functional features of the Service for an additional fee.

2.6. As part of the Service, Customer may be offered special prices and discounts to be published on Site and/or Management Console (if applicable).

3. Limitations

3.1. Customer shall not, including, but not limited to, upload in Container any malware, spyware and software or other Content in violation of the exclusive intellectual property rights.

3.2. If any gross violations of information protection requirements threatening the operation of Platform or third-party resources are revealed on the part of Customer, Yandex may interrupt the operation of Container that violate security requirements.

3.3. The Service may provide for other restrictions listed on Site (the Quotas and Limits section).

4. Definitions

"Container" means an application hosted by Customer on the resources of the Platform, which has a unique identifier and processes HTTP requests.

"Container Revision" means configuration of Container with a specific version of the application and settings that processes requests addressed to Container.

"Trigger" means a condition to be set by Customer that is required for an automatic invocation of Container.
