Terms of Use of Smart Web Security

This document contains specific Terms of Use of Smart Web Security (“the Service”) and is an integral part of Yandex.Cloud Customer Agreement (”Agreement”) and Service Terms set forth at https://yandex.com/legal/cloud_service_terms. Capitalized terms used herein but not defined herein shall have the meanings set forth in Agreement and Linked Documents.

1. Functional Features of the Service

1.1. Yandex provides the Customer with the Service that allows to analyze and manage Incoming Traffic distributed via Yandex Application Load Balancer to ensure the stability and continuous operation of the Customer’s platform resources. The Service allows for the filtering of traffic at layer L7 of the Open System Interconnection model (OSI model) and to use other features of the Service.

1.2. Functional Features of the Service:

1.2.1. to ensure protection against web-based attacks at layer L7 level of the OSI model, such as distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks;

1.2.2.to set up filtering rules based on various parameters;

1.2.3. other functional features of the Service, which Yandex makes available to Customer. Functional features of the Service are described in Documentation on Site.

1.3. Service Level is determined for the Service in accordance with SLA.

2. Pricing

2.1. The use of the Service is chargeable.

2.2. Service Fee for the Service is determined as per Service Rates and billing units specified on Site. Yandex may change Service Rates as prescribed by Agreement.

2.3. Service Fee for the Service depends on the total number of requests, the number of security rules and the number of Security Profiles.

2.4. Yandex may from time to time provide Customer with additional functional features of the Service for an additional fee.

2.5. Within the framework of the Service, the Customer can take advantage of special price and discount offers, information about which is posted on the Site and/or in the Management Console (if applicable).

3. Definitions

3.1. The Service may contain a number of restrictions, a list of which is contained on the Site in the section "Quotas and limits".

3.2. The Service is available only for the Customer, who use Yandex Application Load Balancer.
