Head of IT Support for International Offices

We're a local IT support team serving international offices, and a part of the Service Desk. Our team is everywhere Yandex is! We help Yandexoids all over the world, from Attu Island to Caroline Island, and from the North Pole to the South Pole.

We make sure that from the first day in the company, Yandex employees are provided with equipment with the programs they need, and always know where to turn if they have technical issues or any other questions.

Our values are all about user comfort and service transparency and availability with the proper level of security. In the office, employees want easy access to the network, simple printing services, and meetings in well-equipped meeting rooms where everything is already set up. We support the existing IT infrastructure and work to improve it and develop internal services that save us from routine tasks.

Tasks that await you

Handling User Requests:
Registering and processing incoming requests from users
Classifying requests and routing them to related teams
Resolving requests within SLA parameters and recording actions/results
Engaging with feedback following the resolution of requests
Maintaining documentation and seeking new technical solutions throughout

Interacting with Users:
Gathering additional information and collaborating on diagnostics for requests
Instructing users on how to independently resolve common issues and use documentation

Working with IT Equipment:
Installing IT equipment for new initiatives
Maintaining existing infrastructure
Monitoring warehouse stock and ensuring timely replenishment through procurement

We expect that you

  • Have excellent computer skills

  • Have worked with request registration systems

  • Have strong communication skills and are determined

  • Have excellent phone communication skills

  • Are interested in understanding modern IT technologies

  • Are willing to work in the office five days a week

  • Are fluent in English and Russian
