Technical Manager

We are seeking a Technical Manager to lead the setup, validation, and maintenance of production test lines for new and existing products.
Tasks that await you
Planning, budgeting, and scheduling
You will propose and manage the test line budget and schedule from the project’s concept phase based on product requirements. You will also gather and consolidate test line needs from Yandex engineering teams, vendors, and factories to develop an effective test flow.

Deployment and validation
You will lead the deployment, debugging, and validation of test hardware and software on production lines with our manufacturing partners, ensuring on-schedule delivery. You will handle initial issue triage, lead fixes, and support IT updates, including test binaries and test limits.
Coordination and communication
You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners on hardware/software schedules, sample management, and document sharing. You will also conduct test gate reviews to ensure that test lines meet quality and functionality standards.
We expect that you
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Bring experience as a project manager or similar role
- Are experienced in electronic appliance designing or testing
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Are fluent in English and have HSK 4 Chinese proficiency
- Are based in Shenzhen
Preferred qualifications
- Have a PMP certificate
- Bring experience in mass production of electronic appliances
- Have experience working with Linux, bash scripting, and Python
- Possess a basic understanding of reliability engineering
- Have basic knowledge of Android, HTTP, and REST protocols
