Yandex infrastructure is a set of internal service providers (runtime clouds, storages, online computing systems, and so on) every business in the company is built on. With all providers gathered into a single ecosystem, developers can manage resources for and access the infrastructure needed to develop and operate our products.

Our team develops the basic infrastructure services that bring everything together, making it possible to manage resources, group them by project, and share access to them.

We are constantly working to boost convenience, speed, and reliability. We also need to support the infrastructure requirements entailed in international growth for the company’s businesses.

Stack: Java/Kotlin, Python 3, Go.

• Solve complex engineering problems
• Design and build new components
• Streamline existing components and drive reliability

• 5+ years of experience with industrial development in Python or Java/Kotlin
• Strong experience with common Python (Django, Celery, FastAPI) or Java/Kotlin frameworks (Spring Boot, Project Reactor, Netty)
• Ability to write clean, understandable code
• Willingness to work as part of a team and take junior team members under your wing, sharing your wisdom and skills with them
• Familiarity with high-load and distributed web-services
• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases
• Confidence working with *nix-like operating systems
