Our research team is responsible for improving annotation quality and spreading the innovations we come up with at Toloka. The methods we create are used in mission-critical data labeling tasks in Toloka, and we present our results at top-tier venues.
We’re inviting experienced Research Scientists to perform world-class practical and theoretical research with Toloka. It’s an opportunity to lead the research agenda and publish studies at top-tier international conferences on crowdsourcing, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and other topics.
We’ve presented tutorials at premier scientific conferences like RecSys '22, NAACL-HLT '21, WWW '21, and we also organized crowdsourcing workshops at CHI '22, VLDB '21, and NeurIPS '20. This is a unique opportunity to conduct studies on one of the world's largest crowdsourcing marketplaces: Toloka.

We expect that you
- Ph.D. degree in machine learning, computer science, or human-computer interaction, or equivalent industry experience
- Ability to write effective Python code, conduct experiments, and reproduce published papers
- Interest in reading and analyzing scientific publications regularly
- Proven track record of academic publications
- English fluency
