Yango is an international company that operates mobility and delivery businesses across EMEA. Multiple Yango services are available in Africa, including ride-hailing and delivery, so we’re looking for a PR Team Lead to handle communication in Africa for them.

• Develop and implement a communications approach for Yango services in Africa, including budgeting and evaluating PR campaign effectiveness and business results
• Recruit and manage PR team members in the region in line with business goals
• Work with the team to manage the network of PR agencies covering African markets
• Lead crisis management
• Build internal processes engaging different teams to set and achieve PR goals, reporting results to key stakeholders
• Oversee creation of local communication content for traditional media, SMM, and other channels
• Manage relationships with key media in the region, supervising cooperation with influencers, opinion leaders, and other third parties in the region

• 8+ years of experience in PR and communications in Africa
• Fluent English and French
• Experience in team building and crisis communications
• Ability to prioritize, make decisions, and take full ownership of the results

• Experience in IT and the online services field
