Yandex Media Services is a significant part of the Yandex Plus ecosystem, a rapidly growing business stream that includes Yandex Music, KinoPoisk and Yandex.Afisha. These are technically complex products with different monetization models and user scenarios, united by a common goal: to help users organize and spend their leisure time.

Our team is looking for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis who will help us develop services that are important to millions of people. We are a fast-growing BU with a flat organizational structure, which means that employees are often asked to perform tasks with a range of difficulties.

• Manage the near-term and long-term P&L and cash forecasts, coordinating activities across multiple business lines and stakeholder groups
• Provide in-depth financial management, analysis, and strategic insights for CEO, CFO and senior leadership team
• Lead PL & CF budgeting/forecasting and long range planning for Subs, ARPU, Revenue, including improving and automating processes in support of BU and company-wide consolidation needs
• Support Head of Finance to develop, execute, and communicate detailed financial analyses to support management decision-making
• Drive the execution of financial modeling and analysis, collaborating with the product and central FP&A teams
• Prepare dynamic scenario analysis to facilitate discussion when faced with economic trade-offs
• Oversee internal and external resource planning, drive improvements to current financial reporting and tooling resources for the department
• Prepare guidance and financial update materials for Business Unit senior leadership and FP&A consolidations team to identify potential shortfalls, surpluses and tradeoffs

• Highly analytical and logical
• Effective communication skills in Russian and English
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or engineering
• 5+ years of relevant FP&A/Finance experience with significant experience in a public company or fast-paced environment
• Prior knowledge in a digital, media, or subscription business
• Self-starter who is able to problem-solve through ambiguity
• Initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level executives
• Track record of collaborating in complex organizations and working with the business, central FP&A functions, accounting, and other CFO teams
• Motivated, disciplined, flexible, and be able to effectively work autonomously
• Executive-friendly communication and presentation skills
• Prior experience building, leading, and developing teams

• Master’s degree or MBA
• CFA/ACCA/CIMA qualification
