Yandex is looking for a mature finance professional to lead financial planning and management reporting for Yandex Market. You will be responsible for a 360-degree finance product, including management reporting, planning, finance processes, system harmonization, plan vs. actual analysis, and preparation of internal and external business performance materials.

• Lead financial planning and analysis using the strong processes and systems we have in place
• Prepare monthly management reports
• Work with your direct supervisor to develop and maintain the e-commerce finance materials as best in class, including monthly management reporting and budgeting models
• Prepare regular plan vs. actual analysis and proactively cooperate with business unit heads and other involved employees from various business departments to provide proper and number-driven explanations for deviations and changes
• Clearly codify finance processes and procedures, enabling sustainability and clarity of the processes beyond finance and cross-functionally
• Act as a business requirement initiator for planning and management reporting automation using various software and systems, including Anaplan
• Participate in internal control enforcement processes, including fulfilment of regular internal control procedures in accordance with our existing internal control framework
• Review and provide finance guidance to cross-functional projects, including product initiatives
• On a limited but regular basis, help prepare investor materials, including materials for the board of directors and ad-hoc materials
• Liaise with external parties, including representatives of the holding company, for various issues and follow-up requests related to the work product provided to them
• Work with the respective finance teams to automate corporate reporting to Yandex and harmonization of e-com reporting across Lavka, Eats, and Market
• Potentially manage a team of 1-2 direct subordinates

• Degree in economics, finance, or business administration, preferably from a first-tier university
• 3-4 years of experience, preferably in FP&A, management reporting, or finance analysis
• Proven track record of successfully delivering finance products, including financial reporting and financial modelling
• Leadership, planning, and organizing skills with clear ownership/accountability and business performance tracking
• Solid finance and accounting knowledge, including IFRS (or US GAAP) and RAS
• Finance modelling skills, including basic investment analysis (ROI/DCF/IRR) principles
• Finance analysis skills, including basic factor analysis (for example, MPV analysis)
• Ability to work in a dynamic and turbulent environment with multiple tasks, prioritize accordingly, and work non-standard hours
• Independent, result-oriented, and passionate ownership mindset
• Ability to build relationships with different stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage difficult people
• English fluency, both oral and written

• Qualification as a finance professional, particularly ACCA/CIMA/CFA in final progress stages or completed
• Big-four experience in audit, forensics, or consulting
• Experience in IT, digital companies, or e-commerce
• Experience working for dynamic, rapidly developing and growing platforms or businesses
• Experience designing financial models in IT solutions (Anaplan)
