Our team is responsible for Yandex Delivery’s unit economics. Your job will be to take the company to higher profitability levels. What makes our team unique is that we don't just come up with ideas and evaluate their impact. Instead, we create value for the company by implementing initiatives.

Here are some projects you might work on:

• Building a pricing strategy from scratch for a new delivery product or country
• Developing and implementing a profitability strategy for a specific country
• Managing key country-wide operational metrics
• Developing and implementing a cost-per-order optimization strategy
• Working with product, analytics, and commercial teams to build a monitoring system

• Keep operational and financial metrics transparent
• Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to improve marketplace efficiency and the company’s unit economics
• Build a pricing strategy for supply and demand

• Are able to drive an independent workflow
• Are comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
• Possess exceptional problem-solving skills built on logical reasoning, creative thinking, comfort with numbers, and the ability to untangle complex issues
• Can implement initiatives by establishing trust-based relationships within the team and with other teams
• Have the ability to work effectively with diverse teams to come up with the best solution, inspiring people and organizations to act
• Are familiar with unit economics, technology-driven marketplaces, operational efficiency, marketing, and finance
• Have experience in financial modeling or analytical work
• Would be willing to travel extensively
• Are fluent in spoken and written English

• Are fluent in Spanish
