We are looking for a Chief Accountant to undertake all aspects of financial management for our operational legal entities in Mexico, including local, tax, corporate, and management accounting; regulatory and tax reporting; and establishing and executing internal control policies and procedures.

• Manage all accounting operations in corporate accounting systems, including timely financial statements and regulatory reporting
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting, including all consolidated accounting modules
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Lead the integration of new business with corporate and local accounting systems from a finance perspective
• Liaise with senior management and peers in the business, finance, and IT to lead the design and development of systems to improve and automate processes
• Liaise with internal and external auditors
• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L accounts regularly
• Manage all requests to and from local tax advisors and outsourcers, including payroll and benefit providers
• Lead all financial processes and procedures, including purchasing for local entities and docflow for local and management accounting, support business requests from a finance perspective
• Support month-/year-end close processes

• English fluency
• Experience working as a chief accountant
• 5+ years of overall finance experience, including at an international corporation
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with general ledger functions and month-/year-end close processes
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP experience
• Strong influencing, facilitation, and communication skills
• Forward-thinking approach and commitment to improving management accounting processes

• Russian proficiency
• CPA or CMA
• Oracle experience
