Yandex is looking for an experienced legal counsel to strengthen its antitrust practice.

• Provide legal support for the Company’s projects with the requirements of both Russian and foreign antitrust/competition law
• Antitrust/competition law compliance for new product features, distribution arrangements, and new lines of business
• Advise on behavioral cases, merger clearances, competition policy developments and trends
• Involvement in legislative activity
• Review agreements and other legal documents, draft memoranda and opinions, conduct legal research of Russian and foreign antitrust/competition law
• Contribute to projects pertaining to antitrust/competition, intellectual property, information technology, corporate/commercial practice areas
• Coordinate and supervise external legal advisors in various jurisdictions of the Company’s operations; and
• Identify and mitigate antitrust/competition risks associated with the operation of the Company in Russia and foreign jurisdictions

• A degree in law
• 3 or more years of post qualification experience with a prominent IT company or law firm
• Hands-on experience in antitrust/competition and corporate/commercial practice areas
• Fluent legal English (both written and oral)
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a multifaceted environment
• Independent judgment;
• Excellent presentation, communication and persuasion skills
