Usage restrictions

When the Yandex Maps mobile app is opened from another application or a webpage, a URL click is registered. The number of such clicks from a mobile device is tracked for 24 hours. If there have been more than 5 clicks over that period, the next URL clicks will open Yandex Maps site in the mobile browser, rather than the Yandex Maps app.

Clicks are not counted if:

• The user opens Yandex Maps using the app icon. Restrictions only apply to clicks upon the URL.

• The URL is signed by the access key: i.e., it contains parameters that identify the launching application or website. Clicks upon such a URL do not increase the overall count.
