Database — Databases provided by geographical information systems (GIS) "Yandex Map on the territory of the Russian Federation", " Yandex Map on the territory of the CIS (Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Estonia, Latvia, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan)", "Yandex Map on the territory of Turkey", "Yandex Map on the territory of France", the copyright holder of which is Yandex.

Geocoder — A computer program intended to determine the coordinates of an object and get information about it using its name or address, as well as to determine the address of an object on the map using its coordinates (reverse geocoding). The geocoder is a part of the Program (as determined below).

Request — A pricing unit based on accessing the geocoding, routing and panorama features in the Program. Each call to any Geocoder and/or Router function, except for the panorama display function, is counted as one Request. A call to the panorama display function is equivalent to five Requests.

Router — A computer program for plotting routes between different coordinates and/or points on the map, with or without allowances for traffic. The Router is a part of the Program. Access to the Router using the "client–server" model allows you to get data about driving routes, public transport routes, and walking routes. Access to the Router using the "server–server" model only allows you to get data about driving routes.

Panorama player — A computer program for displaying spherical panoramas on website pages. The panorama player is a part of the Program. The program allows displaying the Licensor's panoramas as well as the Licensee's own spherical panoramas.

Program — The "Yandex Map Kit" multiplatform computer program, which includes the Geocoder, Router, and Panorama player. It provides developers access to technologies for displaying mapping information, as well as technologies for interacting with this information in mobile applications based on the iOS and Android operating systems.

Software (Yandex MapKit Mobile SDK Software) — The Program and Database.

Application — A mobile application based on the iOS or Android operating system, the copyright holder of which is the Licensor.

Ways to use the Software Package and DatabaseWays to use the Software Package and Database

The Licensee may use the Program and Database in the following ways:

1.1. Include the Program in the Application for the purpose of distribution of the Program as part of the Application to End Users on the basis of the license agreements.

1.2. Make the Program as a part of the Application available to the public.

1.3. Reproduce the Program and its components (including documentation) as object code for the purposes of executing the authority referred to in clause 1.1 of these terms of use, as well as use the Program for its intended purpose.

1.4. Make the Database available to the public only through the Program.

1.5. Form Requests to the Database through the program interface of the Program in order to get images from the Database for further display in the Application and to be able to display the Licensee's own data against the background of the specified Database image.

1.6. Temporarily save (cache) for a maximum of 30 days the results of the Geocoder's response to Requests (coordinates, address, object information) and the results of the Router's response to Requests (routes between objects) on the Licensee's computer solely for the purpose of improving the Application's performance.

The Licensee does not have the right to save or store the results of the Geocoder's response to Requests (coordinates, address, object information) and the results of the Router's response to Requests (routes between objects) on the Licensee's computer, except for the case described in clause 1.5 of the Terms of Use.

Responsibilities of the LicensorResponsibilities of the Licensor

When using the Program, the Licensee agrees to:

2.1. Use the geocoding, routing, and panorama display functions only for the Application. When using the Panorama player, the Licensee has the right to process the data obtained solely for displaying it through the Program. The use of any technical or software methods to circumvent these restrictions is prohibited.

2.2. Use the latest version of updates to the Program.

2.3. Not delete, not change the order or sort, and not conceal or modify data obtained by using the Software, as well as any information contained in the Software or received data, including, but not limited to, advertising and informational materials, trademarks, logos, links or other references to the copyright holders, as well as any other notices and/or information transmitted by the Software with the data.

2.4. Not use the Software to create programs or Application features that enable automatic navigation, including, but not limited to, the creation of navigation applications.
