Introduction

Yandex Disk provides a REST API for managing resources, such as Yandex Disk files and folders, through HTTP requests.

The Yandex Disk API is designed for apps that work with Yandex Disk users' files or store their own files and settings on Yandex Disk.

This document describes available API calls and request and response formats. To send your first call, see the Access to API section.

Currently, you can use the API to:

• Get meta information about resources.
• Upload files to Yandex Disk and download files from there.
• Create new folders.
• Copy, move, and delete resources.
