Yandex.Market Considers Delivery Charges in Product Price

Internet, December 11, 2009. Yandex.Market comparison shopping service now considers delivery charges in its product and price listings. Users can now choose a vendor or even a region to make the most cost-efficient purchase.

Sometimes it could be cheaper to get a product delivered from another city. So, Nokia N97 bought in one of Kazan’s online shops will set its proud owner back 23,000 RUR (around $760 US), while having this phone delivered from Moscow will cost a little over 19,000 (around $630 US). The only catch is some waiting time – Yandex.Market can also tell how long.

Yandex.Market users will see offers from their local online shops with delivery charges built into the price, while product offers from shops in other regions will have delivery fee quoted separately.
