Yandex.Direct Connects Users and Advertisers

Internet, July 17, 2009. Yandex.Direct offers users of mobile devices a fast way to contact providers of products and services. They can make a call just by clicking on Call in the ad displayed in the mobile Yandex search results.

Nearly 50% of advertisers on Yandex.Direct choose to display a telephone number in their ads. Now, these ads will become considerably more effective as it’s much easier to call from a mobile phone right away rather then go to the advertiser’s website in search of their number or contact information. Advertisers now can receive calls from clients for the price of one click, and clients now have a simple and easy way to contact advertisers.

In the past year, the number of mobile users of Yandex search has doubled. Currently, the mobile Yandex search has a monthly audience of more than three million.

Yandex.Direct is the first and largest contextual advertising system in the Russian Internet. Ads are displayed on search results pages and on websites in the Yandex Advertising Network.
