All Administrative Centers of Ukraine on Yandex.Maps

Internet, June 2, 2009. Yandex.Maps offers detailed maps of every administrative center in Ukraine to help users navigate the streets in any of the largest Ukrainian cities.

The list of the 25 administrative centres was completed with the remaining seven cities: 49.592107&l=map&z=14 Poltava, 50.619566&l=map&z=15 Rivne, 49.551627&l=map&z=15 Ternopil, 49.419884&l=map&z=14 Khmelnytskyi, 49.432429&l=map&z=14 Cherkasy, 51.492297&l=map&z=15 Chernihiv and 48.292102&l=map&z=14 Chernivtsi. In addition to maps, the service provides sattelite images for eleven of these cities showing, for instance, a bird’s eye view of 51.477384&l=sat&z=18 the Trinity Monastery in Chernihiv, 46.636879&l=sat&z=18 the Statue of Liberty in Kherson or 49.438323&l=sat&z=17 the central market in Cherkasy.

Also, maps of Ukraine now feature satellite images of popular seaside resorts - 45.361476&l=sat&z=15 Kerch, 44.843649&l=sat&z=15 Sudak and 45.026368&l=sat&z=16 Feodosiya. Holidaymakers can take a look at the coastline and pick a nice spot for soaking up the sun before setting out on the trip.

The map of Ukraine is integrated into Yandex’s world map which allows users not only see individual cities, but also calculate distances between them.
