Yandex.Postcards 2.0

Internet, December 6, 2006. A new version of Yandex.Postcards service is open for cooperation. From now on, any Yandex visitor can offer an original virtual postcard to millions of Internet users. For this purpose, Yandex.Postcards has a special partnership program.

Designers, photographers, and postcard producers can all join the program. Yandex accepts finished postcards (images and photographs, static and animated pictures) with proof of copyright; the company is also willing to consider offers to create custom-made postcards. All partners will have individual galleries at Yandex.Postcards with an option to provide links to their own websites and will get payment for the right to use their postcards.

In addition to the partnership program, the service features other notable changes in its content, structure, and design. "Ahead of the holiday season, we present the new look of Yandex.Postcards and hope that our users will find it to their liking," comments Anton Popov, head of entertainment projects of Yandex.

Yandex.Postcards service was launched in 2000. Now, hundreds of thousands of people send postcards at Yandex in a week.
