The second Italian MeasureCamp will take place on 18 May in Rome. This time, the unconference is going to be a bit different, with a whole day before the event reserved exclusively for workshops. Our team will hold a three-hour workshop on digital analytics frameworks.
The key theme
We will focus on the algorythm for getting to know any analytics system, and creating simple but solid principles to help guide your thinking in both essential and tricky problems.
This workshop is for junior-to-middle analysts, but seasoned experts looking for a refresher are welcome, too.
The first part will be dedicated to theory. We'll discuss different levels of hierarchy in a web analytics system using Yandex.Metrica as an example, review some common data misinterpretation pitfalls, and give advice on how to avoid them using a simple framework for thinking.
The second part will be 100% practice. We'll take some real business cases and solve them using the framework: find reasons why customers churn, pick out best marketing channels, find bottlenecks in the site design that are hurting conversions, and crack other puzzles analysts and marketers are confronted with on a daily basis.
About the trainer
The workshop will be led by Ksenia Anikeeva, Yandex.Metrica Head. Ksenia has been in digital analytics for over eight years. She’s gained considerable experience in analytics as a product manager of high-loaded consumer and business services such as Yandex.Disk, Yandex Maps API, and Rambler Analytics. And now in Yandex.Metrica, Ksenia is driving consumer-oriented product development. She is passionate about making analytics simple and actionable.
